Way to go Vikings! I have been a die heart Vikings fan for 46 years. It's been painful from time to time, but I will never switch. Jefferson was the star of the game but Cousins deserves a gold star. I think Aaron Rodgers was getting frustrated because his receivers weren't getting open. We all know better than to count the Packers out, but this one was sweet.
I was holding my breath, almost waiting for the Vikings to choke in the second half like they had numerous times the last couple of seasons or for Rodgers to find his receivers, but neither happened. Much credit goes to Cousins for consistency, accuracy, and dedication. I am so glad they stuck with him. Yeah!
I like how post game Rodgers was talking about all the things that could have been different and made it a game. Well, it could have also been a lot worse for the Packers. They were lucky to even be in this game with how badly they got man handled.
When were the packers in this game? They had 2 good drives. One ended at the 1 yard line the other went for a td. I'm just disappointed the vikings couldn't shut out the packers. I really felt like they could have after the first half
I agree with Jesse. You are blind if you think the Packers were "in this game." They were dominated, start to finish. This is what happens when your front office continually lets talented WRs walk with something left in the tank because they either don't want to pay them or don't have the money to pay them, thinking they'll replace them in the draft or free agency. Sure, it worked for them for a while, but not anymore. I see a long season ahead for Mr. Discount Double-Check. 7 wins max.

Kirk is a damn good QB, but yeah wtf. When he said that I immediately thought he cursed the Vikings. Who predicts that even for guys like mahomes? Lol
As a bears fan I like the two wins today
😂
We coming for you soon buddy
Way to go Vikings! I have been a die heart Vikings fan for 46 years. It's been painful from time to time, but I will never switch. Jefferson was the star of the game but Cousins deserves a gold star. I think Aaron Rodgers was getting frustrated because his receivers weren't getting open. We all know better than to count the Packers out, but this one was sweet.
Yeah I was waiting for Rodgers 4th quarter comeback.
@@garybregel4606 I was also waiting for a late game Vikings choke to. We had way to much of that last year
I was holding my breath, almost waiting for the Vikings to choke in the second half like they had numerous times the last couple of seasons or for Rodgers to find his receivers, but neither happened. Much credit goes to Cousins for consistency, accuracy, and dedication. I am so glad they stuck with him. Yeah!
pack should have won the game, they ran out of time, vikes were outplayed in the 2nd half
@@muttsez You can say that about most of the Viking's losses last year.

True
BIG FACTS 💯%
I agree with Jesse. You are blind if you think the Packers were "in this game." They were dominated, start to finish. This is what happens when your front office continually lets talented WRs walk with something left in the tank because they either don't want to pay them or don't have the money to pay them, thinking they'll replace them in the draft or free agency. Sure, it worked for them for a while, but not anymore. I see a long season ahead for Mr. Discount Double-Check. 7 wins max.
Always love sending the Fudge Packers home, so great to see us beat the Packers in the dome! We've seen it happen over and over again!
Idc who does it, I just love seeing Rodgers lose 😂
You could say the same thing about the packers stomping the Vikings
@@watergirl929 d rider
@@austinsmith3206 we’ve been stomping y’all since we drafted moss
Doesn't Green Bay split the series 1-1 with the Vikings every year? And the "fudge" packers win the division over the trash ass vikings every year too lol.
Green Bay playing like they're in a playoff game.
Lmao right
As a packers fan, if we were playing like it's a playoffs game, would of had the lead then choked it. With all of the injuries we had, we never stood a chance this game lol.
Lol save that job for the Falcons lol
Go Vikings let’s go , wish I got JJ in fantasy ☹️ god knows I tried
Haha same here
He was my first pick I had the number one pick
Got emmm
Vikings played incredible defense against Rodgers.
I like the hopeful comments. In November, everyone's going to forget this vibe. lol. 💯
Life without Adams for Rogers lol
As a Bears fan, this was a much more enjoyable game to watch then the Bears and Niners.
Good to see rogers already in post-season form
I'll take Justin Jefferson over any other NFL wideout
Bears fan here. Good for you guys, hope we both fight for the North
After Watson dropped that first pass, Aaron Rodgers decided that he'd rather get sacked by Z than pass to anyone not named Jones or Dillon.
On a positive note: Loved Love's two minute drill at the end. GB actually moved the ball downfield in the air!
That’s always been his problem
Don’t get too happy about garbage yards
You celebrating Garbage time yards bro?
Good old Rodgers. Rather get sacked than risk interceptions.
I'm a Packers fan and the Vikings allowed him to do that 😂

Nobody falls down on any plays on the def and off lines , brutal , football being played standing up
Exactly what I’d want to see week 1. I think this answers the question of whether Mike Zimmer was the problem.
Settle down there ...its one game
@@lunatune3714 I 100% guarantee you Mike Zimmer either would of made that a one score game or choker it away. Zimmer was the issue and don’t be so blind about it.
Don’t complain abt rodgers not having any receivers after that huge contract, he made his bed and now he has to lie in it
After the huge contract and throwing a tantrum every offseason deciding whether or not he still wants to play. No star player wants to be subjected to the whims of an unreliable man.
I was at the game it was so fun! Amazing game for my Viks. That stadium was going nuts
Absolute domination. Quite simply put
Cousins moved the pocket well, offensive line played out of their minds which was a first, we allowed one sack and not many pressures. What a turn around so far. Gotta keep they momentum going into Philly. We always struggle against them
Kirk looked good, the whole team looked good.
Aaron playing like he's playing the 9ers in the playoffs 😂
Minnesota actually looking like a dark horse contender for an NFC championship. 💜
I love seeing the Vikes play well. However, I never get my hopes up. It's only game one. Lots of big names fell this week.
Bro I’m a packers fan but man I love watching Jefferson play like this (just not against us)😭 hopefully our game is gonna be closer second time around when our offense settles in
@@notaimbot1885 I’m sure that’s how it’ll end up. Week one is always a cluster f- for everybody. I gotta imagine I’m not the only Vikes fan who was like “Wait…we won that?”
That said, I have to agree, even without bias, that Jefferson played like a madman.
@@augustussohn893 I’m not even surprised we lost either y’all take one from us every year😂
Rogers is such a great leader. He sits alone and sulks the entire game. Never says a word to teammates. Makes denigrating faces when his teammates makes mistakes. How much more can you expect from this future HOF'er? Who can criticize him, surely not the Packers or their fans. Cos he's superman. Don't tug on his cape. He sits in his fortress of solitude. The older he gets, the better he gets.
i like dobbs the way he gets open and his style of play is really gonna shine in the coming weeks wow impressive defense for vikings
I honestly expected the Packers to beat the Vikings in Minnesota, but a friend of mine kept telling me they don't do well playing the Vikings on the road. After checking out the highlights, now I fully understand why he told me that information.
We don’t play well in Detroit either so wouldn’t be shocked if we lose there too
Remember last season too the Packers started off against the Saints looking terrible letting James Winston throw four touchdowns on just 15 passes, a rod did nothing either.

Speaking of which I feel like this should be important to ask. Does Justin Fields have good Health and Life insurance ?
@@Charles_Groebs I hope so. I've been crying for an o line for way too long, when the o line plays good he'll sexy rexy, smokin Jay, trubisky, and even fields has shown they can ball with the best of them and look damn good. That's been our biggest issue is we put bowling pins up front to protect our QBs they barely look up from getting the ball from the snap and already have 1-3 guys in their face 😓
Honestly when Watson dropped the first pass i dropped to the ground in disbelief in front of everybody 😂 that hurt my soul man I was hyping him up crazy bro
Coming from someone else who lives in Fargo ND.
The guy has always had problems dropping passes. He's also a big body catcher.
Later in the game he also didn't turn around in time for a quick slant from Rodgers. Not a good start from the former Bison.
keep hyping him up, good for the confidence, BEST WR in the draft.
Im a huge Bears fan but I'd like to tip my hat off to the Vikings great job
"YOU LIKE THAT!" - Kirk owned GB today!
It’s hilarious hearing all these casuals talking about the packers “missing the playoffs” and “not winning many games” this year 😂 last year they came out and lost 38-3 to THE SAINTS, and that was WITH DAVANTE. They will be just fine. Give credit where it’s due, the Vikings had a better plan and were more prepared and they look very good!

Bears fan here. My takeaways: Packers always start the season slow, Vikings D looks good, JJ looks ridiculous (still), and Dillon looked great except for getting trucked at 5:05.
That play in particular got Rodgers beaten up pretty bad
I don’t know how I missed him getting trucked like that. Good grief.
Davante Adams didn't get the respect he deserved.
Kinda seems like the Packers organization doesn't respect any of their players, save Aaron Rodgers. But maybe they're finally learning that one guy actually can't win all by himself.
Clearly, Aaron Rodgers has decided to take week 1 off every year.

Insane game for JJ. In my opinion I think the Vikings could of done better but Kirk and JJ will be scary. They did not even get Thelein started going. Always happy to see Harrison Smith get a pick
Jefferson had better get the ball on EVERY drive this season.
As a bears fan I gotta say, today was a good day
See u next week
6:19 look at that man Rodgers going for the block. Legend
Vikes O-line looked solid. Their run defense was sketchy. J.J. Did what he does. Definitely some potential going forward. The Packers are infamous for slow starts and then finishing strong at crunch time in the season. Hopefully Minnesota keeps their foot on the gas every week!
Rodgers and Adams received the L this week. I feel like there is a “we f’d up text between them both in the very near future”.
packers will be ok but carr will always be carr, adams goes off and he has what, 4 turnovers?im more worried about dillon getting all the playing time when jones is the better player all around, even pass protection jones does more than dillon
technically rodgers real number 1 didnt even play today in lazard, that hurt them. hard to say before we them at full strength
