    • @cathymuwaki10

Challenge is that we are not great consumers of coffee ( due to colonial history/ it was mainly meant for the master). We need to challenge this stereotype.Second it's best sold as green beans rather than packaged.Coffee lovers will prefer a timely roasted bean compared to one that was either roasted and packaged in Kenya/Ethiopia/ Tanzania....simply because it's quality is affected -moisture , mouthful , aftertaste etc
What Nana is doing is a step in the right direction to break the chain of suffering for coffee farmers in Africa.Example in Kenya many coffee farmers have never even taken a cup of coffee.
Best benchmark is Ethiopia on the power of understanding the entire value chain from Bean/seed to cup.

Good to know about coffee in Ghana. It's a beautiful area.
You have to look for 2 Kenyan sisters that do green house farming in Ghana. One used to be an air hostess.
They were featured a few years back on the local Kenyan t.v. channel.

Wow. This is news to my ears as well. I had no idea coffee is grown and process in Ghana. We mostly hear about it’s biggest export, Cocoa. This gentleman is in the right place at the right time. Hopefully this episode will give him the exposure that he needs to market his coffee. Great job Maya. Another amazing informative video. 🙏🏿

Everybody talking about our root yet I don't see the "ROOT" in the African Education system. You can't stop new generation from embracing time change, but the "ROOT" in education will keep them "Ancient Africans" at heart. - By a less known Ghanaian 🙏🏿
