Looks yummy. I never eaten before but I am sure it taste great. Even the bible says we can eat them. People in the states eat the pig but what you cooking is way more healthy
What is the largest spider in your area of Africa? Do people eat spiders(the large ones are edible)such as, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fried_spider. Goliath Birdeater, for ex. These edible spiders include: Thailand zebra leg tarantula (Cyriopagopus albostriatus) which is sold fried as traditional snack in Cambodia and Thailand; Thailand Black (Cyriopagopus minax); Goliath birdeater (Theraphosa blondi); etc.
I've never had grasshopper, but I would try, if I were there.
