@@zaranski1889 As someone who is 15, I do not think all BMW V-8s are meant to be sporty lol. My heart does rest with the S58 Inline-6 in the G80 M3. Obviously I have never been behind the wheel of that car(or any other car) and experienced the engine but hopefully one day I can meet it and it will be as good as I think it is(tune-able and power). The main reason why I think I should stay away from V-8s is because they tend to be mounted in larger(and heavier) chassis, more complex and annoying to work on(experience working with my dad's 2008 X5 4.8), Poor fuel efficiency(even on the best stock tunes I have seen from reviewers), and it appears that there is less resources for tuning(mostly hardware).
Thank God the optics are not uniform like with other manufacturers, you can immediately see that this is the upper class. Next week I can finally take delivery of my X7 60i Thanks for the professional report 👍
I have an X7 M50i and my wife a new x6 M60i and the X7 has a proper V8 sound even with the speakers turned off with BimmerCode. I don’t care if the M60 is a proper M engine, I love everything about my X7. I also hate the elimination of the shift handle. I don’t understand why they did it. It’s still available on the Alpina x7.

Yea mpe but still a huge surprise for me considering the +35k price and +120 HP. First thing I did was add a valve controller and delete the resonator with a single mid pipe. Sounds much better now and really as it should from factory.
I have a BMW X7 (2023) finished in Skyscraper Gray, and I love it-except for the front end. I solved that issue by just not looking at it from that angle. 😊
I hate the split headlight design on the 7 series. I think it looks atrocious. But oddly enough, I actually think this facelift X7 looks way better with the split headlights. I was definitely not a fan of X7's looks pre-facelift
I think combining daytime-running light and the regular lighting system into one unit might have improved the optics somewhat. Apart from that - what an amazing car!
They are nothing alike. Like comparing a toaster to an armchair. My daily is a Cullinan 2019 - my wife has a X7 (albeit not M). Its interior is worse even than the RR' Autobiography which i had previously. Don't get me wrong, the BMW X7 is a VERY nice family car but not as fantastic as the british jewels.
Great range of engines, refinement and technology! I would choose the 40i model with M Sport Pro.. not that much slower, but better value for money.. ✌

Although I like the large screens, but the new iDrive is very confusing to use. I had it in my friends X1 for the first time and it was a nightmare to find anything in it. To find the right one from many many tiny apps, its just impossible and dangerous while driving. The previous one was more user friendly and intuitive with a real buttons for the climate and a rotary wheel.

@@samstruik3450but why a 7 seater M suv? The X5 and X6 is one thing, they actually LOOK sporty and aggressive. This however, would be unnecessary and rub M fans the wrong way even more than BMW is doing already with M-Sport specs on 4 cylinder cars.

The Suburban is a great car (SUV) for what it is, but it is also HALF A METRE longer than the X7! Come on, this obviously makes a considerable difference to the amount of boot space and 3rd row legroom.
It's an S engine so that means that it is a full-blown M engine , the previous x7 m50i had the n63 so that is the 4.4 L V8 with 530 horsepower but not an M code engine🤯
I can’t say that the pre lci was pretty, but this is no improvement. just a huge mess in the interior and exterior apart from maybe the new rear taillights.
This LCI is just not it. An X7 M50i or an XB7 Alpina would be a better option BMW really couldn’t lose from 2020-2023😂 that run was legendary!! The cars from those model years will be insane on the used market down the line.
To be Honest iam not a fan of this lci, i dont like the headlights. My biggest Problem is the Engine, 120 KG heavier is unbelievable (bad way) i dont understand what they improved on it. It sounds bad it’s heavier etc. I think the pre facelift is still the way to Go.
It looks better than prefacelift, but it’s not one of the good looking beemers. I would only buy it because it’s truly luxurious, not because it looks good.
Max, could you use the more regular camera angle? Actually yours now never shows the real look of any car you review and usually you show your feet instead of car.
I don't know but I enjoy more when I watch a video by Max rather than Martin maybe because I've watched more videos with him than with Martin as a reviewer and I find myself skipping videos that are with Martin
This is an S-engine which means it is a full M-engine unlike the M-coded engine which is not an M engine. If you want M engine, do not get M-coded engine but an S engine instead.
My Hyundai Tucson is a better. After it is 6 years old it will be worth nearly nothing. Imagine how much you would loose if you brought this.Still I would consider buying this Bmer when it is 8 years old. Cheap car then and better than a mobility scooter!
