What's better the Clover Station POS or the iPad POS?
In this video, we're going to compare Clover POS and iPad POS for restaurants. We'll see which one is better suited for different types of restaurants and what the benefits and drawbacks are of each.
From my experience the iPad POS is much better because you can save a lot more money with it. Instead of paying the credit card processing fee of 3%, you are able to avoid that fee. So if your business does $30,000 in sales per month, you can save roughly $900 by switching to the iPad POS through what we call a cash discount program.
Your customer has the option to pay for goods/services with cash, or if they want to pay with a card they have to pay an additional convenience fee. Previously, you as the business owner had to pay this fee. But with this method, you are now passing those fees off to your customer.
