You are charging 3.8% in transaction fees to the customer. No one is gonna come to the store to buy stuff.

Why can’t you do the exact same thing with clover or square?

One of the worst POS systems ever. We have submitted multiple tickets to resolve the issues, but they have only gotten worse day by day. The management team is irresponsible. It feels like a scam. they crash or freeze in the middle of the service.

Square steals. We are a new business about to launch literally in two months. We opened a Square banking and wanted to use it for all of our business banking needs, because of its perceived ease of use and options, how it was explained to us on the phone before. How wrong were we... Yesterday we wanted to transfer OUR (not Square transaction generated money) into our account, immediately we encountered a bit of a problem and my partner, thank god, decided to just transfer $5 to test. That went through. Then we decided to transfer more and we were greeted with a big stop sign screen, and then an email that our account is in review. This is fine, happens all the time. Today I call and a lady on the other end says not to worry and that the account will be unblocked within a few hours. An hour later we get an email stating that our account is deactivated and that they will hold the money that we have there for 90! days. Thank god it was only $5, I cannot even fathom what would we do if we transferred more. Most likely it would bury the business since it is very time sensitive and on a tight schedule. So I call again, and the guy tells me that it is over, my account is done, they essentially stole that $5 (LOL), and, by the way, he would appreciate if we would cancel the banking account with them right now. Amazing! I wonder how other companies do business with them if they can arbitrarily hold the funds for the fun of it, how can you operate and rely on someone like that to handle your money. And again, it was our money, not transaction generated money. Do not use them guys, nightmare fuel. #square

Clover is doing the same to me, haven't received my funds in over a year

We are based in Ireland and have swapped our ex POS system for Lightspeed. We have a store and our database has over 20,000 products and 300 customer accounts. Till system is working fine but a lot of issues regarding our customer accounts, that we bill once a month. Quickbook is not at all adapted for our business, and Xero doesn't seem much better. Do you have demos showing how to deal with many customer accounts - we had to add the balances manually! and advised to enter them as products. Lightspeed and Quickboojk don't sync properly - the list of issues is long. Can you help?

That’s a lie I have Toast and I love it I pay $75 a month no more than that and I DO NOT pay for software. Where did he get over $1,000 a month from. Look at him trying to sell you his system lol. Toast has absolutely everything and the customers service is open 24.7 and always help you with fixing your menu and they even have Uber, Grubhub and DoorDash intergrated into the system so you get to eliminate all those tablets everywhere. Don’t listen to this guy 😒

Before deciding whether to buy Clover, think about your overall business needs. For example, I found InvoiceBerry to be a great solution for invoicing. It's made my financial management much simpler, complementing any payment system I choose.

Why sound so dramatic and negative. Paypal percentage is actually 1.75% not 2.29% as you indicate. Furthermore other ePos systems such as Clover etc charge considerably more per month along with a required subscription, also the cost of their hardware is considerably higher than Paypal. The Zettle by Paypal is incredibly cheaper in comparison to other ePos systems. You can purchase all the hardware for around £700 in the UK. There are no monthly system subscription fees and for what ever reason I have never ever had a problem with Paypal Customer service. With this system you basically purchase all the kit that you thereafter own, support with Paypal is free and the only very clear thing you need to pay is the transaction fees, which is clear and unambigious. Furthermore the Zettle by Paypal looks so much cooler than most other dated clunky systems. For me who has been in a retail business for nearly 20 years this is the way forward. I already owned a compatible iPad that never got used so that saved several hundred pounds. Furthermore I use my system intergraded with Shopify and it works seamlessley with no extra or hidden costs for the intergration.

Personally, I prefer InvoiceBerry over both Square and Clover. It's much simpler and more efficient for all my invoicing needs. Definitely worth trying out!
