    Some people might think they already know this stuff, because it’s a great basic tip. But I still learned something from it.
    Another great video helping motivate us!

    People looking down on others for the version of software they use, when Photoshop literally hasn't changed in years. Professional artist, colorist still using Photoshop CS6 for print work at DC & Marvel

    Hei. Your chanel is one of my favorite ones when it comes to pod. Your tips are amazing! And i love you are alway honest and realistic. I love this idea with templates, i just start scaling my designs this way few weeks ago. I am a good designer, but i am not so good with illustrations. Right know i am working on some food related designs. I have a great teplate, with text and background, and some graphics i created myself. Know i am wandering, can i use a vector graphic from pixabay, for example a pizza slice and put in on to my template design. Would this be ok for pod sides, and pixabay, are would i be violating their licence? And much thanks for the video👍😊

      Hello! Yes you sure can use Pixabay - they have commercial license here: pixabay.com/service/license/. They do mention that they don't want anyone just selling the pictures "as is" but it sounds like you are incorporating a Pixabay asset into your own design (should not be a problem - I do this all the time as well, great strategy). Hope that helps!

      @@craftystax thank you😊 yes I always add some of my own elements, and bring my own ideas into the design but I don't always change the graphic, end even when i do, i usually just change colors so it fit more to my design. And this is the part where I am confused. Is this a modificacition they are mentioning in the licence? Is it ok to use graphics as it is with no changes as long as it is only a part of your design? I am sorry to boder you so much, but you really know what you are doing, and you have experiences with pod. I started few months ago, I finally start getting some sales, and I just want to make sure i am doing everything right. Thank you again!

    Newbie designer here, how do you actually save those things to the Layers folder so they appear every time you open it? Same with saving a template of the dimensions you want to design on? (I'm using Affinity Designer, but I'm sure it's a similar process as Photoshop.)

      My guess is he created all these layers on one file. A file with the amazon t-shirt file size. Then adds all these layers but groups them by shapes and colors or squiggles in different groups. Turns off all groups and layers and saves it. Then when you need a new design you open that file and only turn on the layers or groups that will make the design and leave the rest turned off. Then Save As with a new name that way when you upload the design only the layers you turned on will be visible. Probably a lot of set up but will help in the long run. Just don't forget to save each one as a new file when the design is complete.... hopefully that makes sense

      You got it - that's exactly the strategy. So it takes like 30 minutes to set it up, but then you can crank out a ton of designs, and also go back and make customs if you need to. Love templates!

    my question is can i use any type of quotes in my design ?

    • @craftystax
      @craftystax  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey there - I typically look up the quote online to see if it is trademarked (some words and phrases are trademarked). I typically stick to public domain quotes or just "generic" quotes that are inspirational but not directly attributed to any one person.

    • @wearefirst3818
