Use to be an auditor for a big accounting firm. So I put together spreadsheets for resellers to track their items and their sales. Can you help me set up on Etsy so I can sell my spreadsheets to help resellers with tracking their sales and taxes? I would like to do a digital file for my buyers to upload my 5 spreadsheets to help resellers track their sales and taxes on each of their sales plus keep track of their inventory and payouts.
My issue is the new etsy payment There are so many countries outside this method and this has led to many stores being suspended or sellers hindered from selling on there

That's a great question - I did about 15 designs total and was accepted no problem to Creative Fabrica, so I can't say for sure if 5-7 would work. It's just my opinion, but I think it would be worth a shot? (Worst case, you would get rejected, add more and apply again)? Good luck, awesome to hear!
Yes Etsy will close accounts if the seller violates community guidelines - so for example, if Etsy receives complaints from rights holders that the seller is listing items that they don't have the rights to. (Example: if you list a Spider-Man digital file, Disney/Marvel could complain and Etsy would pull the listing and either give out a warning or ban the seller).
I think both can be lucrative-I personally use Creative Fabrica more than Design Bundles but they are both so huge in scope that if you find a good niche with some high-quality designs, there is definitely a market of crafters and graphic designers who use them!
Hi and thanks for your video. I have a big concern about selling on CF because of all the 1 dollar promotion they always launch. If I list my product for 10 dollars but then people use the promotion and download for 1 dollar how can I even make a gain?
You have the option as a seller to include your designs as sale items (or not). There are little check boxes when you are listing your design and you can elect to include them (or not) in a few different promotions, freebies, etc.

Hi Zen, I wanted to open a wedding invitation store (I will sell individual products e.g. invitations, rsvps, menu, table numbers etc and wedding bundles as well) so do you think it is a good idea for me to sell my products on one of the websites you have mentioned in this video, should I set up my own shop or open a store on etsy (p.s. the graphics I will be using to create my own unique products will come from these websites) thank you
It's a good question - really any of the three options you mentioned could work (Etsy, your own website or Creative Fabrica). I would personally vote for Creative Fabrica and Etsy (list on both and have a link on Etsy to your Creative Fabrica shop). That way if Etsy suddenly bans you for whatever reason, you have another shop. Your own website is great but it's a lot of work and/or money to get going so I would recommend starting with the lower-cost options (Etsy and CF).
Yes you can sell your designs on multiple platforms - you basically are the owner of the design (and hold copyright) so you are selling on their platform but you own the design.

I couldn’t agree more. When one platform monopolizes a ton of commerce it creates a beast.

Can I use Procreate to make my digital art and can save them on the svg, png, etc files ?
You can export Procreate files as pngs, but not svgs.

I’m hearing so many nightmare stories about Etsy. I’ve decided no to open up a store with them. They charge unbelievable fees.
