So glad I came across this video! Very informative first hand experience. Thank you for doing this video. We are currently going through this process with the whole ground floor of our house. Do you also wish you installed the UFH upstairs as well?

Yay! so glad you did this review, it's super useful! Definitely keen to use this system ourselves. Have you integrated your radiators with their TRV valves or are they completely seperate?

Aww yay glad you watched and I hope that it’s somewhat useful! Our radiators and the valves are all completely separate. They’re linked to our boiler using Honeywell thermostat. And then we have a separate thermostat just for the underfloor heating. I didn’t know they did their own valves! How does that work? Is it so they’re all on the same thermo?

@@MegC Super helpful, thanks so much! Yes, they're like smart valves that you screw onto each of the radiators, and then you can control them on the same app as the underfloor heating, which is pretty cool! I think we're going to try them when we get the system, so can let you know how we find them!

Great video, thanks for posting this. I'm about to install the Wunda Rapid Response boards across the ground floor and am also thinking a mix of engineered wood and tile for the floor finish. Did you glue the engineered wood directly to the boards as Wunda suggests or did you screed / level first (if so how deep)? Thanks in advance.

    Hey, thanks for the video.
    1. Do you think feel the floor gets cold after you have turned off the under floor heating? Like does it stay warm even after 2-3 hours after under floor heating is off?
    2. What temperature do you run the UFH?
    3. Do you think leaving the UFH at like 30 degree all the time will be costly?

Only 3.2k all in all for a 50m2 surface? Did I understand correctly?

Hello! We’ve just checked our quote and the actual amount was - £3,360 for supply and fit. It was slightly less than 50m2 because it didn’t go under the cabinets. And these prices were based on 2023 prices in Cardiff. Hope that helps 👍🏼
