- Finally an update impacting SNAP, food stamps, EBT for the low income as lawmakers are actively working on a piece of legislation that is mostly focused on food assistance, food stamps and food programs for the low income. We are talking about the farm bill, this is roughly a $1.5 trillion package which lawmakers need to pass within days and the majority of this legislation is focused on snap benefits otherwise known as supplemental nutrition assistance program or food assistance programs for the low income.

Food costs are already up, and now there are potential cuts to these programs. It’s tough to think about how people are supposed to make ends meet when basic needs are getting harder to afford
And it’s not just the families relying on these benefits-many of them are already working but still can’t catch up with rising prices. The system is stretched
It makes you think about how important it is to have some sort of financial safety net. Even with low income, there are ways to manage a portfolio, even if it's small, to grow your money over time

It's a way for less food to go to waste, when there is a surplus, rather than destroying crops, and milk and other dairy.

Just checked Harris and Trump policies on social security. Trump doesn’t want it to go to illegal immigrants, doesn’t want to raise the age and doesn’t want to tax social security income. Harris doesn’t want to tax social security income. Pretty scant information on both of their parts.

I live in Virginia and I've already done bad things to snap benefits My dad is 82 years old and they're cutting his down from $35 a month to $29 a month because they said we had a rate reduction for utilities here in the state of Virginia they were at 14 and they dropped them down to 3 That's like 11 basic point drop so that's dropping them out of SNAP benefits that you get and then when they come out in January with a raise for SSI and social security the cost of living raise or whatever it's called they will cut them again because they do that every year they give you a little raise in October and then take it all back in January but this year they're cutting them in October then in January they'll be cutting them again so you'll be getting less then than you are now thanks a lot Republicans and Donald Trump for all your problems you didn't let them get the border bill done you stopped that You're trying to stop the government funding bill from going through Donald Trump doesn't care if a government shuts down or stays open like he doesn't care about the military men and women if the government gets shut down they don't get paid The military men and women and if they go with just another CR Don't get the full amount of the pay anyway they don't need her pay cut they need a raise for the military men and women but the Republicans are just wanting to cut everything out if people would get and start reading that project 2025 agenda they've got they would realize how bad it is going to get if Trump wins the presidential again and especially if the Republicans get the house & Senate they're just going to destroy our great nation going to take away all the freedoms of everyone That's why I will be voting for Harris for president I prayed on it and I prayed on it and I've asked God about it and God has shown me that's the better choice only choice if I still want to keep the freedom to worship Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior because of Donald Trump wins he's going to make his self God because people already think he's God and mega not already think he's above Jesus Christ
