I've been to 41 out of 47 prefectures of Japan and Nagasaki is outstanding, in terms of friendliness and sightseeing, even by Japanese standards IMHO. I would have no problems planning a 30 days trip just for Nagasaki itself. Other prefectures that I would like to commend are Kagoshima, Shimane, Niigata and Fukushima.
One day i will go there . Its my dream 😊

I always admire, and have great regards and love forthe people of Nagasaki, who had gone through the nuclear Holocaust, and survived and brought the city back to normal, by their hard work, tremendous will power, and terrific courage. Great people, great city, and great country. The have set an example of survival to the whole world.
Kirei Nagasaki desuyo. I visited last weekend from Fukuoka and enjoyed every places. The Final exciting experience was riding on the Nagasaki Ropeway which was much fun and most exciting to visit in the night. I wish to visit Nagasaki sometime later.

Nagasaki is so amazing place, from Indian
nagasaki is world known for the bomb, but the most important matter is the historic trade harbor with portugal, they came at 16th century and bring cool things like tabacco, tempura, clothes, books, china goods and less cool things like evangelist, guns, illness. portugese were the intermediar between japan and china for trade.
actually its still a big harbor with a lot of korean and chinese influence and a modern and gorgeous city with so many hills and sea around with cool view everywhere.
yet dont except lot of castle/temple there, but peace museum, and historic museum are cool, for night life its around the station "kankodori" with lot of bar restaurant and a chinese quarter.
i stayed 2 days there as tourist, the access is very easy, its only 2hours from train to fukuoka/hakata...you can do it a day trip from there , but 2day is better.
