Welcome back to Vietnamese Home Cooking channel. Today, I am gonna show you one of our family’s favorite dish. It’s Steam Rice Cake ( Bánh Bèo Huế) This dish original from Huế, the central city of VietNam. It’s really easy and fun to make, but most of all- It’s incredibly tasty.
Here is the ingredients :
For the rice cake :
1. Rice Fluor : 1 lb bag (450gr)
2. Glutinous flour : 1 full tbsp
3. Tapioca starch : 1 cup
4. Salt : 1 tsp
5. Water : 7 cups
For the topping :
1. Olive cooking oil : 1/3 cup
2. Chopped green onion : 1/2 cup
3. Shredded Shrimp ( please see the shredded shrimp recipe : • Tôm chấy ( shredded sh...
For the sauce :
1. 3 cups shrimp broth
2. 1/4 cup sugar
3. 1/2 cup fish sauce.
