Little bit disingenious as we got a lot of Pokemon Nuzlocke Streams this year for Run & Bun. That is pretty much what pChal said he would be doing. Yes the output is a little lower than usual but we got more content overall.
They call him the weretuber... an ordinary man most of the time, but once a month he transforms into a TH-camr- a great and terrible beast of ad revenue and sponsorships! Srsly tho, always good to see a new pchal video in the notification box ;)
The funny thing is if you look at the Bite angle, the answer would also be magnetite: Gen 1 normal is neutral Gen 2 dark resists Gen 6 dark is neutral Karate chop and gust also changed its typing, but I haven’t found cases where those work
The answer is Bite with Magnemite, not Ghost type with Magnemite The only ghost type damaging move in gen 1 was Night Shade which by definition does not interact with type effectiveness
@XenithShadow the question in the video was for specifically unevolved pokemon. you cant use gen 1 karate chop with any pokemon that gain fairy type cuz all of them gained a pre-evolution after karate chop already changed to a fighting type move.
@aditya8081 The answer is ONLY steel type. And Magnemite is the only Pokemon that is unevolved and had steel added to it. Bite only fits the conditions because Magnemite was not a steel type in gen 1. If it was then both typings of Bite would be resisted by Magnemite in gen 1. So PChal's reasoning was on the nose, he was looking for a pokemon who gained Steel typing as it's the only type that was both added to the game and then had a resistance nerfed.
This is insane: 1. Riddle: "Use your brain or will NEVER make it inside" 2. Riddle: "Don't GIVE UP, you're almost there! But... if you were to GIVE UP, you know there's an exit straight ahead." 3. ??? 4. Your real name is Rick 5. ??? Maybe this was super obvious and I am suoer slow, but I love these details :D and I'm sure there are hidden details for riddle 3 and 5, I'm just really not sure what
Dude I thought I was so smart in thinking Ditto had the biggest movepool bc he could turn into everyone and therefore learn all their moves, then this guy gets it on his first random guess
I saw the room with the sailor and had a visceral reaction thinking this would be some kind of Lt. Surge puzzle on super hard mode. So glad it was just battleship.
I'm surprised Clefable was gotten so quickly. I knew it but only because I made a list of every movepool for every pokemon for a tabletop game. PChal just knew that off the top of his head.
also i think if u play smogon singles, or vgc, clefable and clefairy seem to know the most random of moves, which would seem to be a good guess as it is already known that gen 1 normal types learn a bunch of tms
My guess was on Clefable as well, because the question called out Smeargle. Smeargle's actual movepool is only one move deep, but it can expand. So I was thinking through Metronome users, then I remembered Clefable just being an absolute special tank that learned all of the power TMs back in the day.
Update: it is Putting that in on the Password screen in the JP version puts you at Stage 5 on the highest difficulty (higher difficulties were removed in the INT versions for some reason)
Gotta love the Wolfram Alpha move - Klassiker beim Studieren! With all those tough riddles tho, i was happy to be able to solve the last one. It sure is a nice "trick" ;D
on the first mystery type question i was thinking ground type, it has weakness to water, immunity to electricity, gliscore is ground flying, ghost ground golurk, ground ice mamoswine, haven't watched the video past this point yet but just letting out my thoughts edit: huh i guess i'll never know also i thought there would be multiple ones
As a math major in college 10 years ago, you bringing up Wolfram Alpha triggered some repressed memories of struggling on a single math problem for hours just to have Wolfram Alpha give me the wrong solution half the time😂

Great video Jan! Will you make the Run & Bun Saga into a video as well?
I never thought id be cheering for sponsored ads but at this point theyre the only reason we get vids anymore so I gotta be grateful
Gotta meet those sponsorship deadlines!
Tbf he is working on the Run and Bun video now, as he said he would regardless of the outcome of A5.
Little bit disingenious as we got a lot of Pokemon Nuzlocke Streams this year for Run & Bun.

Drama queen, he still uploads on Pchal daily, and has been very transparent that they're working on the run n bun video right now.

Karate chop would go. Neutral, super effective, resisted instead. With Clefable.
@XenithShadow the question in the video was for specifically unevolved pokemon. you cant use gen 1 karate chop with any pokemon that gain fairy type cuz all of them gained a pre-evolution after karate chop already changed to a fighting type move.

Halloween? Nah.
It's the monthly holiday that we all celebrate on the last day of the month.
a pChal upload!
I'm glad you never gave up on the last puzzle. Don't let us down!
Thank you for confirming my suspicions on what that puzzle was
The Trick House was always one of my favorite things in the entire game.
So glad that there’s more of this. Thanks for the video Jan!!!

That puzzle from the QR code seems really tricky but if you think really hard about it, you'll know that it is exactly what you think it is.
Everyone who liked this comment solved it. So few intelligent people nowadays.
it's a rickroll, aint it?
@@wildwolf2961 Yes x'D

Lol getting that sponsor commitment in right at the buzzer
Props to the editor on this one! The edits had me cracking up 😂
Ah, the 31st of a Month - time for pChal !
boooo
And when the end of the month needed him most he returned
HE CAN'T KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH THIS!
Had to fulfill the sponsorship lol
I think Dekzeh heard everyone complain about "hell room" and thought "oh I'll show you hell room"
19:18 for that puzzle my thought was grass, because it resists electric and water, but i wasnt really thinking of specific pokemon more the type chart
wp Pchal on leaving the last puzzle out so it can come up at the end of the next month for the sponsor deadline, good luck on grinding league bro
18:16 it’s 3rd box art’s typing:
Pikachu (elec)
Suicune (water)
Rayquaza (?/flying)
Giratina (ghost/?)
Kyurem (?/ice)
The dusclops mechanic is actually a reference to Pokémon rangers (or at least Pokémon rangers guardian signs)
10:06 the left strikes again!!!!
That final qr code is a real head scratcher but I've never gonna give you up.
So the last puzzle is a TH-cam video whose ID ends in XcQ. Of course.
I'm glad you never gave it up.
Damn Jan really went with Trick instead of Treat with that ending huh
Happy Halloween

Really cool video, I especially loved the quiz segment. Dekzeh cooked on this
Rustboro City house. The only one missing a doorknob
I was expecting the correct response to the third quiz to be 'Castform' honestly. It changes types, after all.
