But that doesn't equal to luck, he landed the black flash because he could control it, showing strength and improvement. Yuji would've also most likely gotten the Black Flash hit even without Todo's fakeout.

His entire existence is like that And not just that, even in his fights, just like you said, there have been MULTIPLE times where he could've died but didn't and instead won, this is not because of his ability or skill, it's because the enemy did something dumb or forgot how to logically use their actual technique.
