I remember in another interview- Florence mentioning "No light, No light" being recorded in the tour bus through a night of no sleep... I'm guessing that one. It does have the choir sound and a rather awesome beat to it...
He was a lonely ghost uttering a truth that nobody would ever hear. But so long as he uttered it, in some obscure way, the continuity was not broken. It was not by making yourself heard but by staying sane that you carried on the human heritage. He went back to the table, dipped his pen, and wrote.
I want one of those DI's! I have an alpha-Juno that I've had since new back in the 80's that still gets regular use, with the fabulous alpha wheel, that is still being used today. Also, can't wait for the new album. I heard the first song off it today and it sound great!
There are 3 things i wanna ask: 1.) Around the 5 minute mark, which song do you think Isa's talking about? It could very much be Shake it Out, because of the choir she talks about and the nasty beat. 2.) Which one is the waltz on Ceremonials? Did they end up cutting that song?! I need to dance to it! 3.) the song around the 11 minute mark, did it make it on the album? Which one was it?
Isabella is stunning! Her and Florence are THE definition of friendship and creativity.
Isabella Summers is a beautiful person, songwriter, and pianist. This is an amazing interview. Thank you!!!!
Isabella is a gorgeous person, so talented and unassuming. Wish all artists could be like her.
Oh my GAWSH, it's good to finally see some more of Isa. She is the Machine, after all.
I agree, Isabella is a talented musician...she seems to have a love relationship with this creative process
I wish that Roland would do a follow up interview so viewers could learn what Isabella is using now.
Really good...nice to see some of the other band members get interviewed.
