The tragedy of Tony Ferguson is enhanced by not having a proper team or management in his time of need, talked him out of the interim belt, couldn't help him adjust to mounting losses, and couldn't hold him back from being a tough as nails company man, taking fights that didn't advanced his career and took years from his life.

Dude it's the UFC. They don't operate with morals lmao. Josh Quinlan KOd a guy on the contender series and popped for steroids right after and they still signed him. Then he popped for different steroids before his debut and they just moved his fight against Jason Witt to CA because the NSAC wouldn't sanction it but the CSAC would. The UFC is a s*** company from an ethical standpoint. They f*** guys over all of the time. Not surprised at all that they let tony fight. That being said, tony should have been smart enough to take more time off.

One of the most hyped fights. I think in hindsight it loses some of its aura, but at the time it was really cool to be fan and speculate, both stylistically and just sheer entertainment factor. I read a comment once that put into perspective how absurd everything was at the initial build up to 249. I'm paraphrasing but they said something like this:
"So this crazy mall ninja type guy who wears sunglasses and has a 12 win streak, is gonna fight a stoic mountain man that fought bears as a kid who is also on a 12 fight UFC win streak. Now imagine that they were supposed to fight 4 times before but each time it got cancelled, once cause the mall ninja tripped on a wire. The fight gets booked on a remote island (yet to be determined) cause someone ate a bat, and this bald king pin lookin bloke on the TV promises on his mothers life that its gonna happen. Then mickey mouse steps in and cock-blocks everyone involved."
It'll take a while before something as weird will happen in the sport again.

Has anyone ever expressed how great of a storyteller you are.? Your ability to speak clearly and include all of the rise and pitfalls of the Athletes you cover. The hopes and dreams of every guy you show in your films 🎥.. your editing.. scoring the music 🎶 and background sounds all come together culminating a Bloody Fantastic Film to experience. The ability to take the viewer on a journey through the Athletes lives while maintaining factual evidence and slowly building up to the climax of every important individual piece of information that provides a real COMPLETE story from start to finish is Bloody Marvelous... You do this time and time again in the several films I have been honored to watch.
Your attention to detail and every miniscule tid bit of information comes together brilliantly to complete the story is so far ahead of other channels just pushing out content sloppily or without the hard core facts or articles or shows to back them up. It’s a shame to see what happened to Ferguson, easily one of the best lightweights and fighters the UFC has seen. And I wish we saw the fight, but I’d have always given the edge to khabib. We will never get to find out unfortunately

For Tony to choose Jackson-Wink now, is a Tony move if there ever is one. But at the same time its stupid and I doubt it will help him. He would have been much better off swallowing his pride and moving to AKA (its local too) or Fight Ready in Arizona.

The real injustice/tragedy here is the real possibility that Tony will be forgotten in the future; Khabib will be remembered because he retired undefeated and made a case for being one of the GOATS, Conor will be remembered for his Double Champ status and sheer star power, but I’m really worried that in the future people will just think of Tony as maybe a really fun action fighter from back in the day but not much else, and that to me would be the greatest loss of this whole saga; Tony’s Legacy. I won’t forget him and I’m sure many of you won’t either, but years from now when there are new fans and new casual fans running about the MMA Circle, I’m worried Tony will be relegated to just a small circle of Hardcore fans, while Khabib and Conor continue to receive glowing praise and admiration from all corners of MMA, and rightfully so they absolutely deserve it, but so does Tony and he should continue to be talked about as one of THE greatest lightweight fighters of all time

This is why I fucking love TH-cam! It gives the world the opportunity to witness and experience the emotional and important historic storyline in something like MMA or other interest through the passion of what only Die Hard fans understand. Very well put from beginning to end. Detailed and creative. What caught my eye and what I appreciated the most was when the story was being closed out and we see the opportunity fade away to ever see this fight happening you included all of Tony's losses while showing khabib's last fight at the same time. Even though those later fights of Tony occurred after Habib already retired it's still an important part of their story that we all watched as time went along and would just be reminded of what we missed out on.
I didn't think anything could be put together so well after watching the documentary "Lokation". But of course I underestimated the talents and passion other MMA fans have that can produce something like this right here. This is a very important story that should always be appreciated and remembered when we look back at the history of the UFC. Even though we didn't ultimately get the reward we all wanted of seeing the fight happen, it's something that when spoken upon by diehards, it will just be a Feeling we all can relate with. Anderson Silva versus GSP was something similar but not as dramatic or disappointing as this story. I wouldn't mind seeing something done with that like a what if they had fought video. How would it have changed the landscape of where the UFC could have gone in the future.
Anyways once again this is just a masterpiece and very well put together and I appreciate those that work on it.

Awesome video and a somewhat emotional conclusion. Both of them won hearts and won fights and both also lost what they hold dearest; for Tony it was probably getting an undisputed title shot while at his peak from 2014 to 2018, and for Khabib it was for his father to be there to see him achieve greatness.

I came up in wrestling, state of Ohio, starting at 12 years old in junior high, early 90s. Ohio is a hardcore wrestling state breeding many national champions. My first head coach was a Vietnam veteran who had earned 3 purple hearts and had the scarred body to show for it. That man turned us into little killers, the workouts and training was many times more brutal than even my experience in boot camp and Aircrew Candidate Training School combined. The skills I gained through years of wrestling has won me many street fights and it used to be a fighting skill that the general public just wasn't aware of. Kind of secret weapon, lol. Now that's obviously changed. Ah well.

Been here since September 2021... just after you started. Your videos are jam packed. Well edited, always have some rare unseen and unheard video footage with lots of input from the actual fighters. The musial score peppered in at the right moments and I dont mean that generic rap or EDM bullshit to gee you up (nothing against rap, im a fan, just saying)... these are high quality videos superbly scripted and narrated tying everything up neatly into the subject of the video being discussed and never repeating yourself going over similar subjects, person or fights. Well done bro. Well done.
