- This has been the hardest enduro race I've ever done (it's actually the second enduro race I've ever done). The weather took a turn for the worst and it rained and everything got greasy!

Yeah Phil really does have the skills.
Phil's in a different league and would have really smoked this group, same with Ben Cathro. Those guys either raced or still do race at a pro level... Still, i'm sure they had fun. Just don't brag too much about beating "the best youtubers"... Keep it loose have fun and recognize it as a race for shits and giggles.

Usually I see you (and the other guys) do these amazing things I sometimes can't even comprehend how they're done. And that's totally amazing, don't get me wrong. But seeing you struggling like this makes me realize once again that no matter the level you're on, we're all playing the same game: The game against the mountain and the mental game against ourselves - just in different terrain. And I feel like that's something that unites us. I admire you for having pushed through in these absolute sh*t conditions just to be able to look back on it. I'm sure it wasn't the most pleasurable experience. ;)

Awesome riding. You rock and appreciate your thoughtfulness for wiping camera lens for your viewers, while bombing down a mountain bike trail in a race, keeping control and not wiping out.
You could really tell how exhausted he was on stage 5 by those involuntary high pitch wheezes, but man good on ya for finishing that👍🏼 it takes heart and determination to do something and finish something that you feel like is killing you. Great job!
Not just the go pro view of how janky, grizzly and tough these stages are but how much an impact it took on your body and the emotional state it takes to go thru these stages. Well done just for making it thru and congrats on your win 😅🤙🙌🏼

Solid! The only time i got to ride Sabertooth Horse was when it was wet and muddy and then again when it was slightly less wet. The first time, I went down the same spot you did. That one big root is hungry for tires! I'm the same when it comes to riding in the wet, we just don't do it at home. So i have no reference for grip on any wet surface. Great racing dude!!

You did awesome job. I would never race but fun to watch you guys, I ride slower and find things to pop off of not fly by them.
Enjoying your efforts Jordon. Down here in Australia we ride 24hr endurance mtb races - there's nothing quite like being woken up at 4am to do a lap for the team - you just know you are coming off at some point. But its a good life lesson - you learn how to cope when you are at the ragged edge of your strength, and hey you know, life itself will push you like that sometimes and you have to keep going somehow. I have found my riding experiences a source of strength in other aspects of life - so don't write-off the experience or say its not for you. I would like to say more but it would be better to just ride sometime. If this covid thing ever lets up I intend to head over and ride some of these trails.
