I've lived in northern michigan (petoskey/boyne city area) my entire life and i'm just getting into salmon fishing. Never woulda known how amazing it is here unless i stumbled upon your videos and some others. Completely shifted me from bass/panfish/pike fishing to salmon fishing! Cheers!
Im originally from East Jordan and i caught my first salmon with help at 2 years old off the docks. Im sorry but living in that area all your life and took you watching these videos .
Every pautzke cure done right catches fish!!! I catch fish behind ppl that use the same cures and still wack em, we fished behind Kyle Monday and Tuesday this week and doubled his boat numbers....again done right even fished behind others using same stuff I still catch fish with pautzke!! 😂😂
I'll be in South Haven on the black river next month. Any advice? I've not fished river systems before. I'll bring a few spinning set ups with all the tackle mentioned in the video but what kind of bait did you use again? Are eggs usually sticky like that straight out of the package? Like I said I am really unfamiliar with River fishing and salmon fishing but want to give it a shot while up there.
Lol yeah dont know what the look again is for...you can clearly see the hook right under the eye. Look I love your guy's product and use them and will continue to so you dont have to sell me on them but you put that shot in the video and fish was clearly hooked under the eye not "in the mouth". Honestly it doesnt even matter, when a fish hits something sometimes they do get hooked outside the mouth. I've watch fish hit my spinners and be hooked outside the mouth cause the hook flips up when they strike it. $#!t happens. But the image doesn't lie.
Looks like fun !!! Nice Kingers on them cured up nugs. 👊🏿 Use your folks bait cures mostly for Steelie cures. Fish well & catch fish. Even 2+ year old cures I have jarred up in my bait freezer. My question is why all the split shot & no bait weight or even a sliding pyramid weight ? Just seems like a lot of overkill where as one sliding weight does the trick for us in the PNW. Thanks for the good videos & good fishing to y’all. 🤘🏿🎣🤙🏿
How about i take you fishing im by far not a pro but i can show you how to cach 20 and 30 lb salmon on 12 lb test and 10 lb test main 10 and 8 lb test leader.
Yep im about to do a video hahaha im sorry bro 12 lb maxima main with free floating wait pflueger 40 president 10 lb leader maxima with mister twister beads, trout beads, or any fly. Leader line 2 pieces big fly to small fly or dual snell knot hooks on a 10 foot leader. Second set of steps at tippy i landed it where i caught it 24 lbs 381/2 inches it pulled me across the river and i pulled it back. My pole is a fenwick hmx 10'6. Same reel same line i used a 9 foot okuma conniseur and pulled in a 30 lber last year no fish stories. I HAVE PICS TO FOR PROOF
I love how you voided the warranty on your rod: “this is a hmx rated 10-20lb........ yeah for the main line I use 40lb power pro....” lol it’s all good tho! Great video!
Anyone else completely annoyed that they say "catch them in the mouth" but everytime they show a close up of the fishes head its hooked from the outside in not the inside out? Obvious sign of flossing and not the fishing actually taking it into the mouth. Legan snagging that all it is.
Hi Karol, Do you salmon fish much? If you do, you'll know that it's hooked in the mouth. Check out the rig used - and it will help you understand better. Thanks for tuning in!
adam wagaman if u live near any fishing shops stores ask around Also if I live near any Great Lakes or oceans fish some of the major rivers that are very close to it Use this guys techniques ...
Nothing wrong with his techniques,he's catching them, legallyhooked in the mouth.many ppl prefer to fish what they're comfortable with ,I'm one of those.

Every pautzke cure done right catches fish!!! I catch fish behind ppl that use the same cures and still wack em, we fished behind Kyle Monday and Tuesday this week and doubled his boat numbers....again done right even fished behind others using same stuff I still catch fish with pautzke!! 😂😂
Pink has to be the best colour. Works great for every type of fish that I've come across. Cheers
I have had 25 plus fish days on the PM.

Best egg cure.pink and red fire cure is the colors of fire cure I use
Wilson - you're the winner. Thanks for participating. Please email pautzkeinfo@pautzke.com with your address.
Pautzke Bait Awesome !! Thank you and I will
Favorite is orange fire cure
Love those bobber down close ups ❤️
What rod and reel combo are you using there?
What pound test is your leader?
Will egg sacks work for these big Michigan salmon?
Some use them, but most use skein.
BoraX fire the natural. For fire dye only tried the chartreuse worked on minnows
Apparently you haven't watched the video. He described the main line, but not the leader. Flouro, or mono and what test?
We stand corrected and will ask Kyle to address this. Thanks for pointing it out.
What kind of line you using under the float?
Does coho or chinook skein Work better?
Red and pink fire cure is the best
Where in northern Michigan
Did you say 40 lb power Pro or 14 lb?
Fish'n Reels most likely 40. 14 would be too thin and will dig in your reel when u get a fish on.
What's the name of the river.
How about i take you fishing im by far not a pro but i can show you how to cach 20 and 30 lb salmon on 12 lb test and 10 lb test main 10 and 8 lb test leader.
Pink rose fire cure

What kind of reel is he using?
Flueger President, we think
okuma trio 100%
What # leader line are you running?
I heard Kyle say 20lb test line on a 40lb braid
Red is by far the best
Red fire cure is what i use
How heavy is this guys leader line
Have no fricken clue
How the line never snaps clean
🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
I love how you voided the warranty on your rod: “this is a hmx rated 10-20lb........ yeah for the main line I use 40lb power pro....” lol it’s all good tho! Great video!
Braid is thinner than mono bro
He's probably tapered down to a 14# floro leader... So not voided
Line??
Where are fishing
Northern Michigan
probaly Galien River
Stream in new buffalo Michigan in
Was ist das denn? Wenn ich angeln gehe, behalte ich den Fisch und nicht anders rum! Was für ein Dummkopf ist das denn?😈😈😈😈
Red fire cure 100%!
What are you using for a leader?
Carl - we believe Kyle goes over exactly what he's using in the video.
Never leader weight size
Anyone else completely annoyed that they say "catch them in the mouth" but everytime they show a close up of the fishes head its hooked from the outside in not the inside out? Obvious sign of flossing and not the fishing actually taking it into the mouth. Legan snagging that all it is.

George Duchene lol is there something wrong with braid on a spinning reel? You seem smart... lol jk
You guys forgot about the swivel and his leader line lol .seems he's doing something right and it's not a snag .

Nothing wrong with his techniques,he's catching them, legallyhooked in the mouth.many ppl prefer to fish what they're comfortable with ,I'm one of those.
