    Had a good friend and hunting/fishing partner served with the 52nd Flying Dragons there. Ret Lt Col Roy (Jake) Jacobs. Chinook CH47 Crew Chief /Door Gunner on the Gitty Up Go. He passed away in 2020. Miss my old friend. Thank you for your service. Have a blessed Veterans Day.

    Great job brother. I was East of you in Phu thi near Qun hon and An-kha.68-69 Drove trucks. Crewed Huey's. From 75-83: retired with the 101 st ABN 89 as a staff Sergeant

    My Dad was stationed in Pleiku. He was a company armor in the 11th ACR from 68-70. Always love finding footage from that time frame in Pleiku to see if i might ever catch a glimpse of him. Never have though

      Yes sir. Dad was there in 72 till the peace accord was inked in 73. Then came home. Passed in 96 due to agent orange.

    My Uncle was there about that time frame. He was in the 119th Air Assault Company. I think he was a major then. He was Rusty Nelson. Not sure if you knew him. I think they called him Gator 6.

    Then He could fly the Helo ” Upside down "
    Dad Was Awarded The Navy Achievement Medal At Hue With A (V) Device For Valor .
    To hear him tell it .
    V Device. Become
    Become VD So he was Awarded VD By the Department Of the Navy.
