Jim Thorpe should absolutely be “felt bad for.” It was not because “he was just the only one who didn’t lie.” He was discriminated against all along the way because he was Native American. Kind of a sad part of history to mention but breeze over. In general love your videos, though.

@@BrightTripTravel In 1983, 30 years after his death, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) restored his Olympic medals with replicas, after ruling that the decision to strip him of his medals fell outside of the required 30 days. Official IOC records still listed Thorpe as co-champion in decathlon and pentathlon until 2022, when it was decided to restore him as the sole champion in both events.

France, along with Spain, Portugal, Italy and Latin America subscribe to the five continent school of geography. That´s why there are five rings on the Olympic flag: Oceania (blue), Africa (black), Europe (red), Asia (yellow) America green).

I’ve always found it absolutely ridiculous how St. Louis and Atlanta have hosted Olympic Games before cities like New York, Istanbul or Madrid. Especially Istanbul which is one of the most historic cities in human history given its place in the Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman Empires. Like imagine St. Louis, Missouri over a city like that??

I love this channel and its purpose. I just really wish the content was better vetted? The anecdote about Hitler isn't entirely true. Why teach history if not fully factual?

The real Christian reason to get rid of the Olympics the only verse I can think of as a Christian myself would be Paul saying, physical exercise, profits little but spiritual exercise profits much. But he is still saying that it is good for something and that’s just working out in general, not competing at a high level in this case the highest level. I think that competition is healthy for men. It is a good way for them to get out their testosterone without killing each other. so I disagree with the Roman emperor that got rid of it temporarily trying to claim that it is unbiblical he’s not right about that. Every Christian university, including the one I went to Cedarville in Ohio has and respects, and is proud of their sports there is nothing wrong with being proud of athleticism now the vanity and glory and marketing and commercialism and the fact that some players get 100 million and others get less than 200 grand contracts is really messed up and reminds me of Hollywood. we basically idolize only a couple different kinds of people on earth we idolize Rockstars, the most, for example, I idolize Trey Anastasio. In my opinion, he is the best band ever and he created it. And they are still going hard like The Rolling Stones…still rollin’ like a terrible limp bizkit song. They are one of the worst bands ever, but I’m sure someone still idolizes Fred Durst somewhere on the planet he has one fan left along with that hotdog, flavored water and chocolate starfish to keep him company. The other group is celebrities in general like Tom Cruise and the third group is Michael Jordan of course this is why in part I am against the idea of a spectrum of genders there must be two genders and they must be kept separate in order to be not only truthful but fair and just and we are seeing this in sports and we are also seeing it in a disgusting way in bathrooms. Imagine if you have a two year-old daughter and a pedophile is now allowed to pretend to be a woman and walk into the bathroom and either be a simple voyeur all the way up to a pedophile rapist. And molester or groper kidnapper in between. Of course she would not be OK with this. But to affirm trans rights the mother would have to be ok with it to be logically consistent. The same is true of murder. A mother would say I would never murder my child probably but many have in fact I would say more than 50% have. I am not talking about Plan B or birth control I am talking about actual abortion which is murder. we all instinctively know it’s murder but because of a mother’s convenience, we call it a right because children are very expensive. They potentially ruin your body, beautiful stomach and vagina especially if like my wife you have to have C-sections. It is not very fun or flattering or cheap. Having children is very expensive and that is the real reason why people get rid of them they are an expensive problem. Less than one percent of the time it is because of rape or incest, and they don’t want to associate with what happened to them, and on those rare cases which are extremely rare, I would understand if a person got an abortion. It is still murder But it’s capital punishment. It is murder that makes sense then and is somewhat morally and biblically justifiable. The whole trans thing is opening up a can of worms like no other since Roe versus Wade.
The argument on the Democrat side goes it is a woman’s body and therefore her right, but it is not like cancer, which are free radicals, but technically the woman’s DNA still Children are not cancer. And they are not 100% the woman’s DNA either the mother has 50% of DNA in the child but so does the father no one says it is father right to kill their children, but it’s half theirs too. It is only said this way because the mother has to bear for nine months of pain. Because men don’t have to actually give birth, which is the most painful thing on earth besides methadone withdrawal root canals, and being shot in the bone in your femur. And burn pain those are the most excruciating pains that any man can go through anywhere near as painful as birth. So I get why they want to say that it is 100% their DNA but that’s a lie and we all know it’s a lie. It is a new body like every snowflake and fingerprint is unique. I am not my father or mother and if they would’ve killed me, it would’ve really sucked. Wouldn’t be able to type this for one and express my valid opinions and Biblical beliefs
