This man is the best DME I ever heard talk. He is positive and conveys a sense of open honest helpfulness to OJT experienced people. Every DME I met so far has talked very negative about OJT applicants seeking to test. Just in casual talking to DME's about using my life of experience to qualify for testing I have heard nothing but discouraging remarks. It has been as if they all dont wany anyone to even try to interview. I have gotten so many ugly responses just in trying to feel out the process, That I have been driven to discouragement to even try. This MAN is the first one who is inviting OJT people to apply. Im serious. The PREP schools are all encouraging, But when you talk to DME about making a appointment, they all seem to try to scare you away. This man does not. Now Im trying to figure out where I can find a DME to interview with and get the 8610's signed because finding one like this who is normal, and not some stiff necked drill Sargent who has his own way of being over tough to sign the 8610 is not going to be possible
I’m from Brazil, I worked for 16 years as aircraft mechanical I have ANAC ratings, however, I’ve not been working at Least one and a half year . My question is: can I do FAA licenses ??
