    Second time watching your video, good stuff. I'm a dividend investor aiming for slow and steady growth. Currently 39 with a 600k portfolio, my plan is to retire at 50 with 2m. Recently, I switched to dividend stocks with my fiduciary, opting for fractional shares. I used to prioritise dividends for passive income, but with slow growth. Now, I'm taking a chance on high-growth stocks, and already saw a 120% increase since last year. Hoping to hit a million sooner.

      High growth is gambling, I work with a guy who brags when he makes $20k gains every month, 6 months into the year, I asked how he was doing because I was jealous, he told me he was $40k DOWN for the year.

    Putting well-earned money into the stock market can be over emphasized for first-time investors, unlike a bank where interest is sure thing! Well, basically times are uncertain, the market is out of control, and banks are gradually failing. I am working on a ballpark estimate of $5M for retirement, and I have a good 6-figure loaded up for this, could there be any opportunity for a boomer like me? I'm nearly 60.

    its really not as difficult to make money.. you just need money.. thats it.. lol.... open a high liquidity position and just run the wheel.. when that position is going against you (as market is dropping). leave that position alone.. open a new position.... just keep doing this and eventually your first position will recover, and you get out.. keep rinsing and repeating.. this is why the rich keeps getting richer and the poor will stay poor.

      it's literally pay to win. If you have 1 million dollars and you have a 1% return for the week, that's $10,000. Meanwhile, if you only have $10,000, that 1% return is only $10.
      So either you deposit aggressively to grow your account and pick a strategy that gives you a steady income, or stick with your smaller account and make really risky bets until you reach your threshold where you're making less risky bets, and more on wealth preservation while still making great returns.

    It surprises me that people make much money selling calls or puts. Whenever I look at options chains and think about how high the calls have to be so I'm pretty sure they won't get exercised or how low the puts have to be so they don't get exercised, it's not much money at all.

    • @moteq6598

      it really helps if you have a big account, because if you have a small account, you'll most likely have a hard time to own a 100 shares of a blue chip stock. And if you do own one, you're not really making much when you sell a contract that is further OTM to guarantee they won't get exercised.

    I like what you say regarding life philosophy and being frugal and focusing on experiences not materialism, etc. HOWEVER, what you keep alluding to in your videos is that it should be straightforward and "easy" (30 minutes a week) to make 3%/month on your money, which comes to 42.5%/year. That falls into the too-good-to-be-true category for sure.
    If it was that simple to earn 42.5%/year, you'd see many more people achieving those returns, and we know that is not happening. Are you cherry-picking certain "clients" stories out of a range of returns? It comes across in your video like 1-3%/month should be easy, even at 1% that's still 12.7%/year which many people would be very happy with if it only took 30 minutes/week of trading.
    I like that you're not promising a life of luxury and super get rich quick, but the numbers you're putting out are still well out of range from what is simple to achieve.

      @@Da_manndom that might be true for some individual traders, but the professionals and larger traders aren't scared off by options. They would love to get an "easy" 13%+. If you're getting 2% that's 27% compounded annually - which the major players would love, especially if it only takes 30 minutes/week.

    I agree with making 3% per month consistently. That is very real at acceptable risk. That is +35% anualised realised P/L. Last year I have done 34.7% and this year to date is +10.4% (more like 62% anualised) so I am ahead this year but some moths are less good so 30% is good. 8% is aggressive, very aggressive as that is doubling your money each each. You can do it if you have income and spare money that can drastically lower breakeven of unrealised losses. Untill you hit capital level where you no longer can use your salary income left over to rescue mission high risk unrealised losses.

    Don’t watch this guy. He has bots in his comments and I’ve tried multiple of his strategies. I also checked the ones up to date and they are just republished videos. But I’m telling you I started with 50$ on Robinhood and I watched some videos explaining options and then for strategies I watched a guy called tech conversations. It honestly was working out. Some of his videos might not be working but most do. He also uploads up to date unlike the scammer with bots.

    If i was able to make 20k a month i would reinvest half of my gains per month and keep half for bills.. which i think is great... helping people is a great feeling.. i try to do the same

    What are you saying ?
    Every month he is making 10 perc return .
    Even if you give 200 perc , still he will end up with 75k . Please explain your maths and if I missed out on anything.
    Secondly , with Jim having 300k and making 9k a month , are you not going to account for uncle Sam's money ?
    Also let Tony know I can make him 7-10 % a month .

    So you only like students who was blessed into money with clearly no understanding of how to make it since they never had to. Its making sense now. Need money to make money, you can get 5% just by sitting money almost anywhere now. So 10% would be the start no? If you have over 100k and can't multiply it, well now I see why you're so rich lol. Great plan Henry.

    • @InvestwithHenry

      If you not happy with 5% monthly you are too broke or uneducated to understand how good that is.

    • @petkuscinta9797
      @petkuscinta9797 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      😂😂😂 5% per month !not annual. If you want to wait 12 years to make what Henry makes in a year having money in bank earning 5% annual (0.42% month) go for it.

    Selling options isn’t great right now. Vix is too low.

    • @bc8474
      @bc8474 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      That’s what you want, if the vix is high you can sell options way out of the money and price can still come up and go above your strike and now you lost a ton of money

    I keep playing this over and over. This is exactly what I am working on getting to. I just started in January after watching a million youtube videos and finally understood what I need to do, now I just need to scale it for the size of my portfolio to get the kind of results Henry's talking about here, which is my short term goal. Make enough to exit my W2 without spending hours watching trades and charts. How much is it going to cost me to develop a systematic, repeatable, consistent, scalable, premium farming process Henry?
