- I Decided To Give Myself A Challenge And Spent 10 Hours Learning Soldier 76 To Prove That He Is Insanely Broken. Soldier 76 is a versatile damage hero in Overwatch 2, able to excel in both short-range and long-range engagements. He carries a heavy pulse rifle which deals high damage and can sprint to quickly traverse the battlefield. His ultimate ability, Tactical Visor, allows him to lock on to multiple enemies and fire with perfect accuracy. Soldier-76 also has a biotic field ability, which creates a healing zone for himself and his allies. He is a great choice for players who want a reliable and well-rounded hero with a straightforward playstyle.

Not to be overly critical but I feel like a lot of people could climb fairly high if they had a mercy pocket, that being said your aim is S tier.
Strongly disagree here. You have to be an exceptional player to compensate for the lack of heals on the team. If your tank is getting poked hard/out of position the lack of a second support can ruin everything. People are used to getting away with bad plays, with mercy pocket you kinda don't have that. Mercy herself is a B tier character and not being played in any scrims or pro matches. Very squishy, has to rely on being close to heal. I would say that I would have more success with ana or kiri for example.

as a GM player I feel I need to come in and complete agree with you mercy pocket a carry can basically win you games in any rank no matter what. sure if you are bronze in diamond then yeah its not going to workout. but a diamond player with mercy pocket becomes a GM. also in higher tiers people play cover and actually know that they won't get healed as much due to the mercy pocket duo doing their own thing.
@@LSHFT_Eido Absolutely correct here. The problem with mercy pocket is very counterintuitive where your tank is suffering as you can't effectively heal him from the distance making him an easier target. But as you've said mercy pocket, especially a good one is a blessing
With you're aim and getting better at the game overall i feel like you can get into top 500 for sure
Also like hour 9 you said it's like playing with ult on at all time and all i have to say is yes
100%. I know I can do it with enough practice, but will not force it. I'd rather focus on making the best content possible. And if I'll have to do 10 hours on non-meta characters and lose more than I win I will not be worried about it, since it's not my main priority.

@@wazyfrost9145 yeah, it will be tracer + widowmaker only. I already have enough material for it. I was shocked how much I was able to improve on tracer in most aspects. Tracing, blinks, positioning, pulse bombs. Especially pulse bombs, holy shit, I don't even understand how I stick sometimes. I guess practice paid off

Glad you liked it! Hitscan characters are def my favourite, but I can't play them for a long periods of time simply because of how mentally draining they are. Sometimes I wish that I would be a Torbjorn and would just place a turret and pretend that I'm useful🤣

Usually when my team has a mercy and pockets someone we lose because shes usually focusing on one person and not helping the team (tank main btw)
that's why mercy only works with high healing output heros like ana or kiriko

See, I feel like I know the kits pretty well - atleast for the characters I enjoy playing. Its my aim thats the real issue, like 20% accuracy in every match. I just downloaded AimLab, I'll try some aim lobbies too.

S76 is only broken if you have real good aim. If your aim is just average he's actually borderline useless.

Ive been playing soldier quite a lot lately (cuz of the Cassidy nerf making him really bad)so this Video was quite entertaining, to say hes op would be wrong cuz you have to constanstly track to be good unlike soujourn
I agree, but I feel like he is way easier than Sojourn, Cassidy, Ashe. Great option all around.
Cassidy still puts good dmg and nade is still dumb less dmg but the tracking itself is wow.
Cass isn't really bad. He's now balanced.

You have to understand that when you are getting pocketed thé other des can rarely do great cause thé second support is focused on healing the tank so hes not gonna have à graat game if ur merci or whatever is always with you like in this case
That's why I explained that you need ana or kiriko to keep the tank alive. There is a concept where if you deal damage to enemies they can't deal damage to your team. Essentially I'm healing my tank by quickly killing opponents and release pressure

I always thought soldier was the best characters in the game:mobilty,self sustain,burst damage he has it all. Not to mention to ultimate is an aimbot and very powerful with nano.
yeah, but cass could do better than that without the need to aim because of the nade aimbot. Now I feel like hanzo is better than both of them on hanzo maps.

@@wrath5332 Absolutely not. In a 5v5 scenario you can get healed to max hp in a second, and the higher you climb in ranks the better supports will be with their positions. I think if you play well and don't overcommit you will be fine.
Soldier can be an exceptional hero if you have exceptional aim.
But the same can be said if you have mediocre aim.
I know thats literally a skill issue but there are alot of heroes with abilities that get value regardless of skill; soldier doesn't have that.

@@arrozfeijao9028 Everything is relative. In the current meta if you can land shots soldier can be your best dps choice, he is just simply really strong all around.
