so if your 808 is tuned to F2 it makes the 808s sound funny on c5 do that mean i play wat ever note the 808 is played on

you tune it to F and have your 808s on whatever scale you're playing.

If my 808 was pitched to C2 and my melody is in the F Minor Scale, I would tune my 808 to C5 and have my 808 playing on the scale of F minor if that makes sense

late response but basically its because the sample plays a d#2 when you click c5 in the piano roll, so you want it to set to d#5 so it plays a c2 when you click c5. makes it easier to use the piano roll with because you would have to scroll down to c2 if you wanted to use it
