We’ve put this one through the top rack of the dishwasher over 20 times since we got ours and no issues! We’re shocked. It’s definitely (technically) heavier than GG mouth blown but it still feels luxuriously light in the hand.
All the angry Zalto stans incoming... (ps. zalto is overrated. consistently outperformed by grassl, kvetna, gabriel glas, etc.) i wont be surprised if this one joins the list as well!
hmm...sorry guys, but this is a bit rich. I love your wine advice, and I will keep watching for sure, but 50 dollars a glass ? Really ? I can have a schott zwiesel Grace glass for about 5 euro a glass and it's bigger, it's absolutely right for the job, and can even act as a pinot glass aswell...Also, think about this: Most wine professionals taste and drink wine with standard small bordeaux glasses worth about 2 to 3 euro per glass. I understand if you want to create a glass for yourself or your shop, but please do not ask a totally ridiculous price for these glasses.
I hear ya, maybe it's not the glass for you. We all perceive value differently especially when it comes to wine. The key word we used here is "Premium" and if you consider the price of the other glasses in this category (upwards of $80/glass for many) it does indeed represent value and there is absolutely a customer for this glass. Thanks for the feedback!
@@winex1982 I hear ya too, and yes, sure there are many glasses out there with outrageous prices. And I am sure there are customers who'd want to pay that price. But it is a kinda luxury product then. Which is fine for those who just like to spend. Personally though I don't feel the difference with regards to smell and taste with 'premium' glasses and I have been a collector for quite some time now. And maybe it's because I am in Europe where people might be a little bit more sensible with regards to money as a whole (that's just a hunch...but I live here so I'd know...). Look, I am not saying your glass is bad or useless, I am just saying that spending 50 dollar or Euro for a glass...well, I'd rather spend that money on a good wine, hehe 😂
Believe I gave you the idea on what glass was it on your last video, thanks for the info!
You knew what was coming 🎉
Can you please provide more technical specs so it is easier to compare against other premium line ups? Thanks!
Bryan has the specs on his website. fontaineglass.com/products/universal-wine-glass-titanium-edition
Gabriel glass gold is the best but so thin i broke both of mine first year.

Can't blame you there. It's all about whats in the glass at the end of the day, right?
