Thank you so much for this video. It’s really informative. Bro I have one Question regarding my tax file. I have Join with deliveroo on August 2023, UberEats on June 2023 and Stuart on September 2023. In those 3 app I have earned Deliveroo £3000+_ Uber £2000+_ Stuart £2000+_ And my total expenses will be £500 (Including Punchers and buying Accessories for my e-bike) Now my Q is If they ask me to provide all those proofs how will I do that? Though it’s possible to invoice from rider app but how to create file for expenses? Please can you make for us another video Regarding how to create the file on Excel sheet. Waiting for your valuable response. Thanks brother.
Q. If you’re working full time for a company & submit your self assessment for the part time self-employed job, is the tax that is calculated to pay, be just for the self-employment?
Completely honest, I don’t know. I been always working just as self-employed. Even though I think, that if you by mistake pay more taxes.. they will email you after and refund it.
Great video. Thank you for helping. My question is. Should I still pay Ni if im employed and self-employed at the same time? Like Mon-Friday woking like chef and on weekends doing food delivery . Thank you .
The main problem is private use while delivering. It's private use to ride/drive to the restaurant and wait for an order. Business use is around 50% of my mileage during delivery.
Not really. If you use bike for deliveries only then it doesn’t matter about if you going to restaraunt or from. Regards phone I never said you can claim it. It’s 50/50…
@@trickswithniks On trip mileage is available through tax info/yearly earnings but hmrc don't allow personal mileage inclining travel to the restaurant.
No, if you have to, they will email you. But from my own experience they never contacted me to send them proof, however keep in mind (people at least usually say that) you have to keep them somewhere safe for some good time period.
Bro thank you for your guidance. One question i hardely make 700 to 800pound monthly should I need to file the tax. I started this year from the month of March 2023 and i am planning to do delivery only for 11 months. After that i don't want to do delivery. Thanks
If your total income is after all deductions is £ 12000 then you have to pay the extra amount. Example the total income after deductions £13500 then you have to pay tax for £1000
If you started only now do deliveries.. then on April you have to fill tax return for 2022 April till 2023 April.. basically you gonna show them what you earned from this January till April. And then from 5 or 6 April 2023 starts new tax year. Does it helps?
Can i do my self assessment using HMRC app also can i pay my taxes each monthly instead of yearly thank you very much for any information you offer appreciated
Yes, you can do it yourself. Not sure about the app but you can do it online through pc. Regards monthly thing not sure. You have to do it once in the year and then rest of the year you can pay.
I work full time for McDonald's and do Uber Eats Part Time If I were to earn more than 1k Doing Uber in that year, do I only put in the amount i've earned on Uber? Because McDonald's does everything for me. Please let me know as this is all confusing to me Thank you

Hey bro, From what I know you’d still need fill in a self assessment tax form online, then it will calculate if you need to pay tax or not (there is an amount you can make tax free). Since you worked part time you may not have hit it, which could be nice 😄 Take care 👋🏻
Not giving you 100% confirmation I think you can. However keep in mind you can use expenses much more than me. Petrol, services etc.. but be careful and read more about that.
it is very confusing for me to do it by myself, specially because i do have my full time job and i only earn from this job around 400 pounds per mouth (it is just a part time job for me for extra income), i tried to do the registration for self assesment but i got to appearently pay national insurance and i didnt even knew that. i need help from a professional to make me understand every single thing, you for example are only self employee full time, that isnt my case.
Hi bro I just started delivering uber eats Just eat from 2022 November and I am doing it as a part-time job and earned around 1100£ yet but the think is I got another job and earned more than 12500£ before tax till now. So what should I need to do, to pay my tax return for delivery job from Nov2022 - 5 April 2023? Thanks
@@trickswithniks I am doing another full-time job as a support worker as my 1st job and they are deducting my NI and tax from it. So delivery is my 2nd job( started from 2022 November)and earned only around 1100 £ till now. So in this case what I need to do? You know what I mean?
You have to declare self employed income if you earnt more than £1000 in that self employed role. I have a permanent job too and started doing Uber eats aside that in January. I am making sure not to earn over £1000 for Uber eats because I can't be bothered to do a self assessment tax return for the take of a grand. Next year in will earn for Uber for the whole year, not just a couple of months, and I'll definitely earn alot more than £1000 so than I will definitely need to declare that.
Are you sure you can’t write off your phone bills for expenses? I read you can because you use it for work. Say you work 33% of the time and use your phone personally for the rest, I think you can include that.
You still have to complete self assessment tax return. Since it’s bellow £12500 you probably not gonna need pay taxes but you still need add this. You might pay something if you been working somewhere else too but let them to tell you that.
@@anasou1938 If you are renting, they you can use that money as expenses. If its yours, then you can write off all the repairs, tubes etc. however keep in mind, you have to keep all receipts etc.

You can do it only once in the year.

Will HMRC ask for evidence of expenses?
Sometimes they can. You should keep evidence for 5 years at least.
