This was the 'first ', reggae " superstar.. 'Manley Bucchanan ',..I was there in the middle of this. LONDON, melfort road, Castro brown, aka, " morpheus record shop", parchmore community center, resident sound " Observer sound system "BABYLON MOVIE ",.. sharon and audrey Osbourne, " rory ' stone love ', sisters, rory was a little boy then. ..sharon kept singing " baggawire ketch ah fire ", and burst out giggling ...nobody can match my stories ,....nobody !
@@aweirdredtoad3637Before Bob Marley in 1973, there was no Rastafarian artist who achieved international recognition. Desmond Dekker and Jimmy Cliff were Jamaica’s first superstars, but they were not recognized as Rastafarians. Jah Youth's international fame came in the mid-70s.
Big Youth was a giant. A force in reggae as all the greats from 1973 until. King of Kings.

Thought the first reggae superstar was Desmond Decker in 1968.
@willie luncheonette Well, reggae only grew bigger in the early 70s so Jah Youth is the reggae superstar and first rasta superstar.
