I was expecting it to end with AJ stumbling upon them in the clubhouse after a fashion only to see them fused together by the magic into one mindless abomination. The way it turned out was worse than that, though, I'd say.
*When a curse comes from a bessing...* *When a bond of friendship becomes a bond for survival...* *When one's wish becomes their nightmare...* *When one desires another over everything else...* *Your goals become pyrrhic...* *Your friends become necessities...* *Your family becomes a hazard...* *A fate that not even death can save you from...* *The bond shared is one that is too strong...* *to powerful...* *to demanding...* *to dangerous...* *This may seem grim, but to the CMC, this is a happy ending. With their three spirits now apart of a new realm, their pains are no more. The other two may be mad at Applebloom for now, but they will ultimately forgive her and say that her actions were the right thing to do. The bond they share is still strong, but in the new realm they find themselves in, the pain, suffering, and trauma is nothing but a bad memory and/or inconvenience at most. Their loved ones will quickly learn the full story they left behind and will see their sacrifice as noble like a solider fighting to the death to save his squad. This is not the end, but rather the next chapter for the CMC. The demands of the bond were there to guide them to this phase. But the real question is... what's next for the CMC? Will they wait for their loved ones to join them? Will they help out others in this new world like they did their own? Will they do something that allows them to be once more connected to their homes and families? Will the seemingly indestructible bond break apart? It literally took away the very magic and effects that the marks had on the ponies And there's no reason why it wouldn't do the same for The CMC here. It may have some unwanted effects, but given a a choice. I'm sure the girls would rather lose the marks, if it meant the pain would stop.
The stallions were pulling a train. It's not that they're dedicated, it's that they can't just suddenly stop to avoid hitting her. Trains in real life need at least a mile to slow down to a stop if they're traveling 55mph. I'd imagine it's the same for the pony world.
I find the part where Sweetie Belle carves a heart piece shape of her skin to mark the point where she really started to lose it. The fact she was willing to subject herself to that kind of pain just to create "art" implies the suffering her cutie mark is putting her through is literally driving the kid crazy.
Wow. That was creepy, and it turned WAY darker in the end than I expected but what do I get for listening to a grim dark story? The shivers and pleasure of listening to a very well read and well voiced story. Well done Scribbler, and thank you, I enjoyed myself! As Pinkie Pie says, sometimes it's really fun to be scared!

Taking things farther than just simple pony stuck in the woods cliques and making a dark, creative, and sad story. So, may the story of these crusaders continue on from where ever they are, without pain, without suffering, and with happiness
You need to read "His Own Personal Heaven". It's the most heartbreaking, emotionally intense, but powerful MLP Fic ever. Likely because it was partially based off of the writer's real life experience with a severe illness. It brought me to tears Partially in part because I myself went through something similar, albeit it was not nearly as life threatening.
I can’t help but wonder of what would’ve happened if they just cut off their cutie marks. Maybe that would have separated their bond, taken away their special talent sure, but it probably would’ve saved them.

This story was in my watch later for over a year. Finally got to it, really good. My problem is why didn't they tell anypony or how no pony noticed they were bleeding when they were apart. Before they got all messed up in the head. Also ending was a little wordy, before the train hit. Did like the idea of Applebloom still feeling the pain and hearing Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle even after death. Very good idea. Interesting and fun listen

The story is hella good, and the concept is very interesting! The one problem I have is that the Sweetie Belle VA sounds really whiny in every line, and I feel that the tone just takes away the feeling the story is meant to invoke.
The reason why sweetie belle's voice is like that is because if you watched mlp friendship is magic and compare the two is because scribbler wanted genuine voice actors for all three of them

Man after i think about a full year I decided to rewatch this because I remember it freaking me out so much and damn it did not dissapoint. Maybe it's just the concept, the strange what if in your brain that seems to nag at you whenever you delve into something truly horrifying, maybe it's just the fact that I want it to be hitting hard to the heart, or prehaps it's just simply an amazing piece of writing talent, but from the tone, concept, voice acting, and other outside elements... Listen as someone who hasn't had physical friends for well over three years now This somehow hits fuckin *close* Like I often (shamefully) fantasize about having friends, or even being able to just talk to people my age with my shared interests, so to listen to a story about friends who *physically can not* be separated just hits the heart just right- *But I mean like in a good way cause I did like listening to this :)*

However after (months or years I think) TH-cam was updated, the update would replace the star system with the like and dislike button options that we all know and love. However, after seeing how many dislikes the “Ghostbusters 2016 reboot trailer” got TH-cam decided to update TH-cam again, but this time it disabled the option to see how many dislikes a certain video got, however you can still dislike a video you just won’t see it ( idk why they just didnt take away the option to dislike in the first place)

*Time to put on my wise/philosophical/theorizing face*
This may seem grim, but to the CMC, this is a happy ending. With their three spirits now apart of a new realm, their pains are no more. The other two may be mad at Applebloom ofr now, but they will ultimately forgive her and say that her actions were the right thing to do. The bond they share is still strong, but in the new realm they find themselves in, the pain, suffering, and trauma is nothing but a bad memory and/or inconvenience at most. Their loved ones will quickly learn the full story they left behind and will see their sacrifice as noble like a solider fighting to the death to save his squad. This is not the end, but rather the next chapter for the CMC. The demands of the bond were there to guide them to this phase. But the real question is... what's next for the CMC? Will they wait for their loved ones to join them? Will they help out others in this new world like they did their own? Will they do something that allows them to be once more connected to their homes and families? Will the seemingly indestructible bond break apart? Will they have to suffer the same incident a second time?
Like most questions, the answer may never be known.

@@lizlon3254 back when TH-cam was first released to the public, there was the star system, basically you would press or click how many stars you wanted depending how much you liked it ( the stars were 1-5). However after (months or years I think) TH-cam was updated, the update would replace the star system with the like and dislike button options that we all know and love. However, after seeing how many dislikes the “Ghostbusters 2016 reboot trailer” got TH-cam decided to update TH-cam again, but this time it disabled the option to see how many dislikes a certain video got, however you can still dislike a video you just won’t see it ( idk why they just didnt take away the option to dislike in the first place)
21:15 this story was incredible! just the right type of gruesome I like, except near the end I got confused-
