You are a great teacher and your enthusiasm rubs off on me. I’m a 55yr old ex drummer that’s just taken up drumming again with some electronic drums. Had a few lessons at school but mainly self taught. Watching your lessons has made me realise that I was doing some things wrong technically and having a practice pad in my lorry is invaluable. Thank you 🙏👍
I'm always amazed at the way you take these simple patterns and make them epic. I do that pattern a lot on the pad just trying to build speed with it but I play it RRL, being right handed I realize now how effective it will be on the kit to switch it around. Thanks Mike.

Is the kick happening at the same time as one of the other beats? The triplet sticking across the 16th sub beats sounds great, but where’s the kick happening?
Thanks for watching. In the intro, I'm generally hitting the kick on the quarter note - on the "1,2,3 and 4". Super cool Mike 😎😎😎 I haven’t looked at ur channel since you were on 20k subs!!! Just curious, do you have any advice for playing music in your drum covers and not getting copyrighted? Many thanks, your awesome!
For God has blessed you with such an amazing talent, whatever you are now is just because of God and i really love watching your videos, keep it up bro.

I love the way you always cheekily look round at the camera. I'm not gay by the way lol
The 4 on the floor bass drum works well. It sits between the accents on the other drums and adds an extra complexity to the rhythm.
Thank you!!! You give this week long drummer courage to do fills. A really great PROGRESSION.... so off to my practice pad I go :)
Great! Very good Lesson!
Wow! I’m trying to figure out which hands to lead around the set on my fills. Don’t want to think too much. Ty
Thanks

Cheers Keith! RRL is also great IMO, that's also on the list of classic linear patterns :)
Outstanding, that’s going straight into P!nk’s So What, the fills in the final chorus repeats.
