- Only the governor of Kano State has the right to remove an emir and Gov. Abba Yusuf has exercised this prerogative. Allegations that former governor Musa Kwankwaso is behind the reinstatement of Emir Sanusi II are false

God I love this very intelligent and an eloquent speaker ❤
This man is very sound... He answered all the questions exceptionally well.
His eloquence and thought articulation are top-notch!
Absolutely 💯 a very intelligent man indeed❤
Ganduje was the mastermind of the crisis. The recently deposed emirs should accept the development and move on. They should agree that their ascension to the throne in the first place was through a flawed process.
Pls we shouldnt be consumed with our ignorance nd hatred upon Ganduje..pls follow everything that happened in between the late gvt nd SLS b4 judging or centring blame on Ganduje.....I quote from the guest speaking..." LATE GOVERNOR HAS THE RIGHT TO DETHRONE SLS IF THERE ARE REASONS.. Can u pls tell me the reason behind sacking Aminu Ado bayero?
@@abdulfari3528 what reasons did Ganduje give you for which he sacked Sanusi?
@@abdulfari3528Can you tell us the crime emir Sanusi committed before his removal? This tyrant dictator cannot cage our humans right for Godsake

Why is the Nigerian government intervening in the traditional customs of the people. The British colonial adminisrtation hijacked the traditional customs and laws of the the land, because they want complete control to rule the people. After Nigeria's independence, why should the Nigerian government still operate like the colonial rulers. The kingdom of Kano and most traditional customs in Nigeria have been in existence for over thousands of years. Does the British government appionts who will be the Queen or King of England. These are the effects of Colonial mentality and military rule and the Nigerian people how to decide what constitution they want for themselves.
This man is well spoken and clear with his answers
Your guest is very highly intelligent man. I like the way is responded to your questions
The governor's adviser spoke well
Good!!!! The Ex- governor of Kano (Ganduje) signed and put pen to paper making it constructional ( during his tenure as Governor) that a Governor of Kano States had the executive (and exclusive) power to "appoint, or remove" the Emir of Kano........ Great!!!!
So, Ex- Governor GANDUJE removed LAMIDO SANUSI LAMIDO as Emir of Kano. So, there ain't no problem..... it's constitutional. So, now the present Governor of Kano ( YUSUF) decides to reinstall SANUSI LAMIDO SANUSI as the Emir of Kano. Now, from a logical point of view, I do not think there should be a problem with that.
Maybe it's just me. But, like SANUSI LAMIDO SANUSI, I have been accused so many times of having too much ""Western values". SANUSI LAMIDO SANUSI had problems as the Central Bank Governor, and he had problems during his first tenure as Emir......all because he is perceived as having too many "Western values". But I need someone (anybody) to tell me where our Nigerian values have taken us. We are now almost 64 years as a sovereign Nation......no food, no electricity, poor education system, poor health care system, poor road networks, bandits and terrorists everywhere, corrupt office holders....the list is endless..
Nigerians are sentimental people. TINUBU cannot reconstruct something that has been destroyed over so many decades........ definitely not in just one year!!!!!!!! I gotta be frank here......I really wanted OBI to be our President. But, even OBI wouldn't have been able to solve the Nigerian problems in just one year. We all need to start thinking like ONE PEOPLE........THIS HAUSA; YORUBA; and IGBO mentally is tearing us apart, maybe even more than our corrupt leaders are doing. WE CANNOT EVEN BEGIN TO FIGHT AGAINST CORRUPTION AND BAD GOVERNANCE IF WE ARE NOT UNITED.
Very intelligent and smart SA.
Very true. The governor has the right to remove the Emir.So just as Ganduje had the right to remove Sanusi so does the present governor.Let the vicious circle continue. The next governor may as well remove Sanusi and put whom he pleases. With full credit to Lionel Richie...let the music play on.
Can someone explain to Nigerians why Federal Government is using her apparatus of coercive force to undermine the separation of power as enshrined in the constitution? Why is Tinubu’s administration elevating security crisis in Kano and what does federal authorities tend to gain by this action? Federal authorities should explain to Nigerians if the Governor of Kano has the power to appoint and remove any traditional leader? The safety of Kano State citizens and by extension, Nigerians as a whole, are being threatened by the reason of these two elephants in the country that are fighting, it is the grass that suffers (the citizens). Tinubu, his chief of staff, Nuhu Ribadu, the NSA to the President, former Kano State Governor and current National Chairman of APC, Alhaji. Abudullahi Ganduje, and other criminally minded politicians who are not wishing our country well, to , please, allow peace to reign in Kano.
This is not the first time it's happening. If you recall in march 2020 when Sanusi was deposed, they made it look like the Kano government did alone but Pres. Buhari was invisible in that action.
My advice is, let's wait for the court to come out with it's judgement. For me I want Sanusi as Emir of Kano because he was deposed unjustly.
😂😂😂can u explain any reason or reference behind their involement..
It's disturbing when politicians starts meddling into revered traditional Institution. It denigrate the very important institution. Traditional rulers are no longer respected because they are often politically appointed.
Apty said! Excellent.
Very intelligent man
Very apt
Haba...kwankwaso don't underrate our intelligence, Nothing bad if you are involved unofficially.
This man is intelligent ❤
Sir... You are very very intelligent.... Wao.
Perfect analysis of the whole matter...
I thought the guest was a lawyer.
It is a simple concept that should not be piblicly explained, to those who are given the grace to know, to them it belongs.
Time and chance happen to them all and some uses the time and chance to strike, those who use it to strike against the just are the evil
The down is down until it is used to strike unjust
God bless the United States of the world
ToLu Emiayo
This is Love
❤ good
What is happening in Kano is not surprising.
The former deposed Emir of Sokoto was moved to a village until his death.
But the reinstate Kano Emir was moving around the corridor power when he was removed.
What a lengthy question? She's like the guest .. blah blah blah blah blah blah. Damn!!!
What a ridiculously phrased question...kai
If the governor has the power to appoint and remove a traditional ruler, then it is no longer a trational rulers office but rather a partisan office or appendage of the political class.
It is a misnomer for traditional institutions to be existing side by side with democratic structure in a federal system. The 1999 constitution doesn't recognize our traditional institution. Besides, the power the political class now exercise vis-a-vis is the traditional institution was gotten from our colonial masters. The colonial masters were the ones that brought the traditional institution under the direct control of the political system
This Ojy Okpe will use questions to confuse you, she needs to be employ by CNN😂
😂😂
"Has the right"
But is that conscionable ?
This man has simply divided the people of Kano and admirers. If at all 'We' the people want the preservation of our revered royal institutions, we have to rewrite laws confered on the leadership about desirability of their actions.
Ganduje should be arrested for violating human right. The removal of emir Sanusi was illegal, even the lawlesness of our security apparatus is becoming of concern.
Any analyst or interviewer should read the case of Tukur v Government of Gongola State before speaking on this issue
With or without any offence? I wonder why we re so consumed by our ignorance nd hatred....Ado bayero or Aminu Ado bayero back to the state ....
....
Am from Edo state Benin city, where the king can not be detrone, despite the fact that the governor of Edo state trying to play with the ancient gods but in all his game, his fail.
Dey play. Pray that there’s no problem between the governor and the king
Can you imagine? Two Fulanis fighting amongst themselves over what supposed to be sole right of Hausas
Governor has a right to remove what? An Emir, for doing no wrong? Wxecutive power is not for thuggery and vendetta machinations. It is not a CIRCLES CLOWN regatta. It is unfortunate and we are afraid that this is what is being foist upon the nation.
The former Emirs were kangaroo Emirs that ascended the thrones hrough a flawed process executed by ultra disgruntled and power drunken Ganduje. That in itself is a crime
The only solution to this saga is that both the two Emirs shud be deposed n put an Independent Candidate to be the new Emir Let the two go n rest retire
The question is, who deployed military forces in a civil matter.
Saying they were there to enforce court order is a joke of the century.
Court of Appeal gave 3 orders to INEC to allow Labour Party to inspect electoral materials.
These orders were flaunted by INEC, no single one of them was obeyed.
Even the so called court of appeal that gave the orders did not apply contempt of court against INEC.
Lol. The handwriting written on the wall is very very clear. The law of Nigeria is only used to favor the rich, the elites and those who are team players...hahaha 🤣 this country eh.... The only language APC understands is violence and force.
Our political leaders are lawless and law breakers. “There was a country.” My prayer is that may God deliver our country from the selfishness of our political leaders to drag the country into chaos, war,and ruin.
Why not create many Emirates councils are give one to each of them.
Let the Hausas solve their own problems and leave Nigeria alone. We have too many problems more important than traditional positions amongst Muslims.
I believe both kings are Fulanis in Hausa land.
That's one of the keys for 2027 and a New Nigeria
A
Is there any right behind Aminu Ado not to stay in kano?let him fight from insight not from outside..
That is supposed Hausa throne
Mr Agbado Tinubu supporter😂the man said that there is no court other served to the kanu state government and that the judge is not even in Nigeria but in Nigeria.
All of you making comments here are mischievous. We all are in this country when the current governor assumed office and the first thing he did was to destroy markets, buildings and monuments put in place by his predecessor Alhaji Ganduje. Government they say is continuum. So why did he start by destroying the handiwork of his predecessor? Kano was enjoying very peaceful atmosphere prior to this obnoxious law repealing the five emirates created by his predecessor. So why did he suddenly decide to make that his priority amongst the many issues calling for urgent attention in Kano such as poverty, education, health and so on and so forth. This is a man who recently escaped by the whiskers being removed from office. Thanks to judicial pronouncement that favoured him. And today he doesn’t want to obey the courts position on raging emirate matters which he intentionally provoked just to spite his predecessor in office and to disrespect the Federal government which party former Governor Ganduje is in charge as Chairman. How can somebody be so disrespectful, daring knowing fully well the man he so hates can make and unmake him politically. Let’s wait a bit and we shall see to whom truly the farm belongs whether it is to the raccoon or the trap.
I find your comments the most distasteful, shameful and hypocritical,Only time will tell because the trap can only kill one racoon but there are millions more to contend with, the instigator of the whole brouhaha is the former governor who because of politics tried to destroy an emirate that precedes his existence, so if you cannot have your way the house should be brought down, Governance is a continuation of positivity and all retrogressive actions of government will definitely come to a screeching halt and a U-turn executed once people with brains mount the saddle, this is a lesson to all governors who must understand that the same power you use to execute a miscarriage of justice will be used to upturn it, if you don't want posterity to remember you unjustly kindly stay within your boundaries because as we all know power is transient. Lastly nobody has any power to make or Mar anyone except Allah SAW, nobody else, as a matter of fact every actor in this episode including us the spectators all have expiry dates so all protruding shoulders should be deflated immediately, nobody has a guarantee of the next 24 hours, be guided.
Everyone, even the death, was able to established d crime ND faults committed by Sanusi, then, who can mention d crimes of Ado that warrant his removal?
lol sanusi was never accused of any crime, rather he was accused of insubordination which was clearly political. Even ganduje said in his interview with seun that sanusi was deposed because he “talked too much” that’s verbatim what he said . Imagine the utter nonsense. So because he is the emir he should not speak up for his people when the state government is misappropriating funds? Forget every personal grievances you have, this is purely a legislative issue. In 2019 the Kano legislature passed a bill Balkanizing the Kano emirate splitting it into five emirates, . Now this new legislature simply repealed that 2019 law , the same way the 2019 assembly repealed the previous one . So what’s the issue?
What was the crime (s) of Sanusi? Please, explain to us because I know that Federal Court ordered the Ganduje’s government to reinstate Sanusi. Did you know about this?
Sanusi Lamido Sanusi accused Jonathan government of stealing billions of dollars and the allegation was proved to be false. That’s just one amongst many false alarm he raised as CBN governor. He doesn’t practise what he preaches. The man has no respect for constituted authority. His sins are many. So he deserved to be removed. If you want to be a king, you should be ready to be father to all and this you can do successfully by being neutral in all matters. You can have both of your feet inside the rain and continue to complain of cold. If you love social criticism, advocate for the downtrodden then you can’t be part of the body you criticize. You chose one. Sanusi is only fit as a social critic. Not as a king.
It’s not about Bayero or Sanusi. It’s more about the bad politics being introduced into the traditional institutions across the country. Ganduje was wrong in dethroning a king the way did it. Now today’s government wants to correct that and I don’t see anything wrong in that. Those affected negatively by the action should reflect on how they got on the throne and stop making noise.
@@gbengaayodele5698 are you really that gullible? How could you easily be brainwashed by a politician who isn’t really known for being very smart( and that’s me being nice to his legacy) ? so an emir should stay silent when the elected government is misappropriating funds? And no his allegations against Jonathan was never proven to be false . The government simply denied it. Matter of fact it actually turned out to be true. Judging by the prosecution of Dasuki and deziani Alison madueke who happens to be the one he even accused directly. And again you are wrong. This is not just one of what his detractors called him out on, rather it’s the ONLY THING THEY COULD FIND. Did u ever hear mr ganduje mention any other thing sanusi did? No …did you hear him mention what sanusi specifically said against his government that warrants his ouster? Nope. Yes he mentioned what he said against Jonathan because that’s the only “stain “ he could find . Which is actually not a stain . In fact that’s a badge of honor for the enir. His ouster was strictly political. He got mad the emir did not endorse his second term. And btw what’s wrong with the emir asking the government “why are they spending money on building a state house in Abuja when there are schools to be renovated”? Mind you he said this during kwakwanso regime, when ganduje was his deputy, what has that got to do with his 2020 ouster
Jj
