I did valet with my mustang GT at the movies when I got my car back it was warm & it was a 20 degree night plus the movie that was playing in my car stereo was over when they gave it back

Video walk around the car before parking. 3. Video odometer at valet stand, passengers can be a help here to do the videos. 4. If you don't have money to tip, tell them that you need to get money when leaving as you only carry credit cards. Tip them on exit after a walk around first. 5. Used vehicle's Valet key. Don't have one?...Remove all keys but the ignition key. Do this before going to any parking lot, repair shop, etc. 6. Snap a photo of trip milage, gas gage and odometer. Photo interior too. Lay a human hair over spots that are tempting...you'll be able to see if someone popped the glove box and console.

Just get a custom tuned installed with valet mode and when ever you have to valet the car put it in valet mode and your set... Tuner can set max amount rpm, max speed etc...
So easy to fit gear or gas pedal limiters - and give them keys which activate the limiters. I have a SUV with these fitted and no problems. In the wheel well I have a recorder that records a camera hidden in my rooftop light bar and visible front and rear facing cameras. . Since I have to record business and personal mileage, I always remember the last three milometer digits.
The only other person allowed to drive my car is my dad. If I HAVE to use valet I go back home. Plus it's a classic merc so even if insurance pays out I will never find another one. Just uber... It's far simpler

Here in KCMO valet at a casino gave away a Limited Edition Corvette ($70,000), offered the woman $10,000🤦 but she didn't take it and her insurance tried to do her bad too but yet again she refused. The car was seen all over but no one could ever catch til this year (a year and a half later🤦). Had high miles, old rims and hood was painted because it was very distinctive.

I worked in a restaurant where the valets would spin the cars in reverse in a back lot. The owners were notified.
If you were working as a valet and the owner wanted his car but you can tell he was visibly drunk, what would you do?

An apology like that with no real apologetic emotion does not suffice. You gave away someone's hard earned money that some random people claimed they lost a ticket to their car..... These valet should never have a job ever again with such poor responsibility. And no why would anyone pre-emptively tip people when they know you valet parkers will just ruin their car regardless.....This Ed guy is just a total bullshitter.
That’s also what happens when you take your car to the Garage shop. If you have a nice or sport car, there is a high chance that they will take your car for a spin.
I just wonder, if you catch a valet abusing your car (reckless driving, donuts, take it for a ride, stealing...) but there is no physical damage, is there anything that you can do? Could you ask for compensation or anything?
Not the same at all I'd rather my mechanic use my car for the day under the pretense of test driving it then a valet.

Here in KCMO valet at a casino gave away a Limited Edition Corvette ($70,000), offered the woman $10,000🤦 but she didn't take it and her insurance tried to do her bad too but yet again she refused. The car was seen all over but no one could ever catch til this year (a year and a half later🤦). Had high miles, old rims and hood was painted because it was very distinctive.

I have hidden GPS in all my cars. Some cars have that engine disabled feature. Using those features can help law enforcement find the car(s).
