Randomly found this and after the 3rd time listening wiping tears away. This is a masterpiece of a song. a lot of music lacks the depth and captivity this song just grabs you and tears right through you.
And I fall, into your open arms Soundly embraced here When I fail Fall into your open arms Soundly embraced here When I'm lost Plot threads for a patchwork quilt I've been searching for... Presence in a wandering heart Kept like secrets Forces bind us with no exception In my absence I have not forgotten The shadows we create And I fall, into your open arms Soundly embraced here When I fail Fall into your open arms Soundly embraced here When I'm lost Fall into those arms again Fall into those arms again And there you are always And there you are always After all this time when I'm my most lost An anchor, eternally grounding me to navigate A darkness, until a light so blinding burns through the fog It's never in doubt After all this time when the rain comes down An anchor, eternally grounding me to navigate What's left behind, what lies ahead It can take the worst to find out But there you are always But there you are always But there you are always But there you are always
I'm so glad this vid has come back up. This song and video pretty much saved my life. Thanks Rolo Tomassi for helping me through a really dark patch. Big love.
Some random info: At 2:49 the old man looks at 2 photos - they both feature British actors James McArdle and Oliver Jackson-Cohen who starred in the British miniseries, Man in an Orange Shirt. An absolute masterpiece! Watch the series to further understand the message in this video. This was such a cool discovery, and I haven't been able to find any info connecting Rolo Tomassi with the series or even the producers/directors of both the series and this music video. Maybe someone else can shed more light on the connection?
What in the world is this band!? It's like they can't make up their mind about what they want to be. It's like they have a varied sound or something. Imagine that! Well, all I know is I love it a lot. Will be listening to more.
Thank you for the re - upload! This is one of the most beautiful and touching art pieces with a deeper meaning! I love all of your albums! You all are amazing musicians! From "Hysterics" to "Time will die and love will bury it". That tittle of the last album is a statement to think about from a lots of different perspectives just like the sound of your music. Big love and support to you from "Rijeka" (Croatia)!!!
This is absolutely amazing!!!! It's something I had never listened and sincerely I'm loving it. Question: why does that incredible voice sound so low??? The instruments are so high that you can't enjoy that wonderful voice.
What a masterpiece this is.
This song always makes me cry...
And I love it. Thank you Rolo Tomassi.
A darkness until a light so blinding burns through the fog
There you are, always.
Lost my mum last week. I'll be including the lyrics from the final passage of this wonderful song, in my piece at her funeral.
If there was one song I needed to hear for the rest of my life, it would be this one.

JOYAAAA
And I fall, into your open arms
Soundly embraced here
When I fail
Fall into your open arms
Soundly embraced here
When I'm lost
Plot threads for a patchwork quilt
I've been searching for...
Presence in a wandering heart
Kept like secrets
Forces bind us with no exception
In my absence I have not forgotten
The shadows we create
And I fall, into your open arms
Soundly embraced here
When I fail
Fall into your open arms
Soundly embraced here
When I'm lost
Fall into those arms again
Fall into those arms again
And there you are always
And there you are always
After all this time when I'm my most lost
An anchor, eternally grounding me to navigate
A darkness, until a light so blinding burns through the fog
It's never in doubt
After all this time when the rain comes down
An anchor, eternally grounding me to navigate
What's left behind, what lies ahead
It can take the worst to find out
But there you are always
But there you are always
But there you are always
But there you are always
Wonderful. Simply Wonderful.
Thanks for the lyrics.
Thank you so much.

I like the heavy parts but there's too much drone noise that makes it extremely boring for me. But I love the heavy distorted parts.
