I discovered the band in 2020 during Covid 19 pandemic. I was suffering from depression not because of the situation at this time, but because I was almost 30 years old and I had the feeling that I messed up. When Gaerea came into my life, it instantly became a light in the dark and it helped to get through all this shit and it gave me the strength to stand up. Thank you guys!
30 is still plenty of time to get on the road you want. If you let it, many more years will show you that nothing is an accident and if you open to divine inspiration you will be guided to your own unique destiny - pray to any higher power you choose to be guided to what you are meant to be doing, not what your ego believes you should be doing. This may be very different from what our ego wants. If you can find good Vedic (Indian) astrologers they can help you - a good one can pinpoint all the best and most challenging aspects of your 30 years and what's to come. They will also pinpoint untapped talents. They will also show you areas in your particular life of challenge and of ease - some people have perpetual misfortune with family and partners whilst they have incredible good fortune with jobs and accommodation - others have the exact opposite. Some are here to start out rich and become poor, some are here to start out poor and become rich. Moon placements explain much of our emotions and relationships to mother and women. I saw Gaerea open for Wolves in the Throne Room last month and they stole the show! I had never heard of them and was astounded at the stage presence and energy they brought.
saw them open for carach angren in feb 2023 and they stole the show that day too! a unique performance like i've never seen before, the vocalist had gone in front of stage equipment and performed at the VERY edge of the stage with minimal space to be real close to the audience. incredible ambience, here i am now still tuning in
I don’t know why some people categorize them as black metal. They really aren’t at all. They are extreme metal-not death or black. You can appreciate them without miscategorizing them.
