Whhhyyyyyy did you give HG your money? They refuse to be inclusive and used a model that definitely cannot use their bronzer and altered the photos to make the palette to appear deeper. They purposely continue to ignore their customer base that is literally begging for them to cater to deeper skintones.

I have used Hourglass finishing powders since their launch. They are not to set your face but to finish it, to make your skin look blurred and filtered, especially in photos. The powder is to be applied after your setting powder, bronzer, and blush. They are very beautiful when used properly.

I’m glad you did this, I almost bought their little mini palette they released this year for holiday, and I do have some luxury products that I really like, but these, I just don’t get the hype. I would rather buy the Charlotte Tilbury powder that actually makes your skin look air brushed. If you like the bronzer only, honestly I would return this, and just get one of their bronzers. You could even just get a mini bronzer, bc you probably have so many, you’re not going to go through it all anyway. If it wouldn’t work for you, it definitely wouldn’t work for the model in their campaign pic!!

We have to understand that these are translucent powders. Each one is suppose to give a different natural glow. They aren’t highlighters. They aren’t bronzers. They aren’t powder foundation. With a finger swatch they seem very pigmented but that’s not how they are worn. Brush strokes aren’t pigmented. “Each powder captures, diffuses and softens surrounding light.” Each “shade” captures a different type of light. Undertones plays a lot with which light looks better on you. I’m a warm tan latina and these look beautiful on me. I highly recommend using the Radian Light Ambient Powder for ALL skin tones with warm undertones.

If I’m not mistaken, I think she said on a video like a year ago that she got them from Songbird Collection. That’s where I ordered mine from, they also have them in silver, bc I got both pairs. Just don’t order any of their necklaces, I got 3 necklaces, they all broke, then even gave me 2 replacements, and they broke too 😳 but their earrings are 🔥

I just bought a full size Hourglass Ambient light bronzer in shade diffused light for the first time and it didn’t show up real well, and I’m a shade lighter than you. I’m sorry but I didn’t get the hype!

Hourglass is definitely expensive. I used to want to try their products but I just don't think they're worth it, like they're not that innovative plus with everything else they have going on it's easy not to give them my money. At least you got to see that the hype was just hype, lol.
Not to sure how I feel about this product, looks like you had to work to hard in making it show up? I know its a soft glam but some times there's not enough time to do that. I think it's to pricey. Thanks for the info.

I bought a “travel” sized blush from hourglass a couple of years ago and I returned it so quick lol. They are SO overpriced and overhyped. I’m light and the blush barely showed on my skin. I paid about $25 for a freaking travel sized blush. Thank god I got my money back. I wouldn’t recommend the brand.
I’m dark and never understood the hype of their brand either. Their products don’t even show up on the white palms on my hands😂
She’s using it wrong that’s why she doesn’t like it 🤦🏻♀️ the bronzer shade is the set all over face lightly, this is a pallete to use after to implify for photos and videos with lighting.
