Oh man Timber, I got a little choked up listening to all those kind words. I really appreciate you a lot. It’s so funny how we both battled the silence and relentless stuff going in our head by singing and music. As much as I feel bad for the editors having to sit through my concerts, it seems to be a good way to keep fighting for both of us. The fact that you wanted to help me land that fish and jumped up to grab is 🥰. We were so close out there, but so damn far apart. Both battling similar problems, day after day. Once in a while, I’m pretty sure I could hear your music in the wind. Amazing video Timber, my favorite so far. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
You thought you looked awful, when you saw your reflection, and I thought you looked pretty damn good. Beautiful eyes, and a rugged beard. You actually looked quite cool. You really accomplished something amazing out there; so impressed. -gal
To me, this was the best season of Alone thus far, and I've watched them all religiously. Easily 3 of the best, most entertaining, deserving and genuinely cool people we've ever seen in the final 3. You're all winners in my book.
2 best contestants this season by far...look forward to following both of you and really hoping we get a collab video of you 2 like Fowler and Greg have done
Timber's been my favorite all along, VERY closely followed by Dub, hard to even seperate the two in terms of favorite, but all of a sudden we have William sneaking up from behind, like some machine that takes a while to get going, and then it just MOVES...wild season, in hard competition with season 6 with Jordan and Woniya. I guess technically Roland is still the GOAT, but its hard to beat cool cats such as season 6 and 11 wildebeasts :)
Timber, I want you to know that you have my utmost respect for the way you handled yourself on Alone. As a Christian myself, your reasons for tapping struck me as resoundingly holy. I pray God's good fortune and blessings on you, your family, and your humanitarian work going forward. Blessings, my brother.
I have to tell you how powerful I found that quote of psalm 27 was. How you explained the way you deal with difficulties was fantastic. The thing that struck me also was I don’t think a Bible was one of your 10 items. Scripture memorization is vital. Emotions aren’t always reality and re centering with Gods word is the answer. I actually shared it with the college group I went on a kayaking trip over the weekend for a devotional. Thank you for your insight! I’ve been watching alone waiting for your win!!
Although I am from Canada, but wished you won the prize. Everyone was awesome and the last 3 of you were incredible .But you were the only poet survivalist.
I heard you speak a few Sundays ago at my parents church. I have not been to a church service in a very long time prior to this and I am so glad I came. I needed to hear what you said about being in awe of God’s creation around you, while on Alone, and it finally hitting you that you are included in that was simply powerful. I think you quoted this verse; Genesis 1:31 Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. I feel I’ve messed this all up and I hope you made/make a video about this. It’s such a simple adjustment of thinking that is aligned with the Truth about how God sees you v. how you see yourself.
I think we can all agree we wanted all three of you guys to win!!! I was literally struggling so hard trying to choose who I thought I wanted to win. I really wish that u dub and William could have won this season.
I loved watching you on Alone. I live your introspection and way of looking at life. From one Hoosier to another, very proud of what you accomplished and how you live out your life
I must admit that you weren't one of my favorites at first. But, as time went by, I began to see more clearly who you really are. You soon became my favorite and I was rooting for you right up until the end. You are a man of integrity and depth. I wish you and your family well into the future!
Hey Timber, I loved watching you on Alone S11. For me, you were the most entertaing competitor, the most insightful and the funniest. All the competitors were so great and I really enjoyed watching everyone but I learnt so much from you. You are such good value and I really appreciate you being on the show. Thank you very much. Peace and love to you and your family. xoxo
Timber I just finished watching season 11 and I enjoyed watching you more than any contestant on alone you made me laugh, cry and you showed so much inner strength I learned so much by watching you especially your philosophy on life. You may have not have won the money but your strength and wisdom gave so many so much inspiration to go on in this life. Your family is truly blessed to have you congrats on making it for so many days.
I love this recap of the inner experience and how you help bring in some parts we don't see on film. The human spirit, mind and body all get challenged on this show in so many ways. Thank you for so generously sharing and for letting me know about Dub and William's TH-cam channels.
WOW! This episode was packed full of the ups and downs. I was so impressed with your cool head in dealing with the fire. The way they pieced your song together and made a video was so cool. Dub’s song showed a side of him we haven’t seen. And Sassy was defeated! Way to go William. I am so glad all three of you are ok. I can’t wait so see the next one.
I really appreciate you informing us of the youtube channels for Dub and William. Its hard to say who is going to win at this point, you all bring a different spin on the way you're surviving out there. I'm cheering you all on.
I was so much hoping you would keep going. Your talking yourself out of it, with your thinking. You had plenty of food. Timber. God gavre you the skills to win this, so you could help your own family 1st. Like you had said, not anyone elses. Still one of my favorites on the show. Damn Timber you had it. Grrrrr. Hoping to see you again when regret hits you, cause it will. $500.000 is all for your sons and family. I loved the show. Thank you, you are 1 of the best ive seen. Loved the show. Best season ever.
Yes! Let's put out the extended version of that song ASAP! We all want to hear it! Much love and respect to the three last man standing. You guys rock!!
My husband and I were so encouraged to see you living your faith (as much as the show allowed us to see, which we were thankful for). We would love to hear you speak more about that (your testimony, how much scripture you memorized before going on Alone, how you live out your faith as a husband and father, etc.) Thank you for making the most of your experience by pointing to Jesus. I think our favorite part of the entire season was you reciting from the psalms.
I am so glad you made a video talking about this. My husband and I just finished watching the show and were hoping we can hear more of your words after the show and then I found you here! You have had such an interesting insight on your experience. And the lessons you got out of it, makes you a winner in my opinion. The lessons everyone else can learn from your words is also very inspiring. Your outlook on life, and the way you communicate is very powerful. God is using you in an amazing way. Keep shining and being a light to this dark and broken world. God bless you and your family.
Thanks for putting yourself on display..for our entertainment..and ultimately..my admiration...You folks are the knights ..of our times..stay true to your self!
I really thought you would win it Timber! You had such an upbeat, and energetic, way of doing things. Clearly you had great skills. I had to sign up for TH-cam just so i could comment , about your adventure. i related to you in so many ways! Top notch attitude, and fun loving survivalist! Great insights.
I don't cry easily but seeing Dub's tears come out as he sang broke my heart. it was so genuine, it'd be impossible to fake such an intense emotion. (SPOILERS!) . we know Dub didn't win in the end and that the producers cannot anticipate when someone will quit but I wish Dub's mom had been here for him when he tapped out.
Hi timber you were amazing on that show, we were so impressed with all of your skills and your great attitude. It was really respectable too how you tapped out. God bless you and your family.
Timber!!! 👏👏👏 i watched every episode !!! I loved you all ❤ You are a very spiritual 🙏 great man, Timber!!! I gotta tell you, I learned a lot, too. Be proud you all were incredible people for sure!!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I worked for years in Northern Alberta in relentless cold. I'd check the temperature in the morning and the temperature forecast for the week. I could then prepare. I would think about those earlier explorers who never had access to weather forecast technology and consider myself lucky. I transported fresh water in those cold temperatures (-40F). The colder it got, the quicker water froze, the danger risk became higher. Good luck Timber in all your pursuits.
I really liked the additional information and perspective you shared. I can't imagine, but I do understand the sound of "silence" the snow brings. You did a terrific job. Thanks for taking us along on your journey.
Timber, Thank you so much for making this video. I have been watching Alone for years now.. It is great to know all the mess yall had to put up with. I've lived in South Carolina all my life and cannot identify with the cold you describe. Regarding the quiet from the snow, for several years I lived a quarter mile from a very busy interstate. There was a constant roar 24 7. Once every few years, we would get a big snow (6-8 inches). During the snow storm, nothing much moved on the interstate, remember this is SC. For about a day, there would be silence, not the same silence you described, but it was stark and we all enjoyed it. Regarding the darkness, I am a photographer and I know that most cameras have an automatic exposure setting that was probably on. Auto exposure tries to keep the exposure at 20%, that means that bright scenes would be darkened and that dark scenes would be lightened. The way a photographer would usually correct this is to manually adjust the exposure up or down. I doubt that the Alone participants could do this. The autoexposure makes dark afternoons look lighter than they really are, so we never really saw the darkness like you did. Thank you for sharing your faith during your Alone time. God bless you brother.
I really loved seeing how you did not only incorporate music, but the art you made on the birch bark. And the Trial by Fire game. Music and art truly transcend time in history. So creative!
Timber, I have enjoyed watching you on the show. I especially loved the ending of episode 10, the verse and your message was amazing! I to would like a copy of your song.
Would you go back? You were so amazing dude. I loved your philosophy on life and how I thought of you changed to polar opposites by mid season. I made judgements on you as people do but when you opened up, WOW. I learned a lesson here.
What an inspiration you reciting Psalm 27, I’m a Canadian Christian and was torn between you and William and Dub. After that Psalm 27 video at the end of the episode I was in tears. And then next episode Dub catching that big Pike, William creating the ice cooler and lots of fish, totally amazing. I absolutely believe that God was blessing each one of you. He is the giver and sustainer of life! One question for you, is there a short clip of alone with the words of Psalm 27 as the pan the landscape? Very powerful moment
I respect your decision that you made. It was a hard choice. However I think that you mindset is so clear. Money is not happiness and I as long as you can walk out with a clear mind and learn. That's the main thing, I though you was going to win it because you had the food. But I hope your family all the happiness and money cannot buy that. Good luck and you done well 100%. God bless you and you journey in your life.
NIche knowledge as you put it is correct. Growing up and dealing with -20- -40C on a regular basis as you grow up you do things without having to think about it very much. Snow is different depending on what time of day it is, William already knew that sort of thing. It was a definite advantage to have already done -40C (same as -40F) and know what it is like.
this guy is the best. let it be known that i picked him on day one. and i knew dub would give him a run though. but it would come down to one single thing......faith in God Almighty. if Dub loved the Father, no one would touch him though. both dudes are great either way. i think ya would want both of em on any real team.
Man I was really rooting for you to win and when you grab that sat phone I started to feel let down. But after listening to you I totally understand why you tapped out and I support you 100%. William deserved to win also but I totally enjoyed watching you.
When it was total silence, did you hear the faint music playing? I have had that a few times, like some illegible song thats playing, the instruments can’t be picked out, nor a specific tune. Just gentle like wind chimes and harps music that goes on and on. I’ve gotten the ring too- silence so loud its like a truck horn in your head. I prefer the chimes 😅
I wish most people could experience wilderness solitude alone. John the Baptist, Paul and others reach a spiritual awareness that most rushed people will never obtain.
It must be tricky to post these videos without giving away whether you won or not, since we have only seen up to episode 11. Both you and Dub are posting to TH-cam and social media. But William isn't (to my knowledge). Deep admiration for all you guys! Edit: thanx for mentioning William's channel!
Timber, my brother Dom was the runner up on Season 36 of Survivor. We’re trying to get in touch with you but don’t know how. Would love to get you on for a conversation
I think you'll need to upload the whole song here, if possible. Would The History Channel have rights to it, or just the original footage you recorded?
I have a lot of thoughts. One is winter grizzly. Grizzly can come in winter & hungry blacks I have seen in November. Currently live in Central Alberta. We had -50C, no windchill just in shade temerature last winter. One is a good bed. By that I mean factory made. I lived alone for years in a log cabin but even in -50 cabin got very cold some nights after fire went out, my bed never let me be cold. Next 4 walls. Just knowing you have those things! I mean about peaks & valleys. Valleys for me is health & worry about family & evil doers harming them & I can't help at 66. Also can I still make it in our bush. I get sore in a good bed lol. I always had my dogs in bush so even though went over 4 months of nobody I has my giant dogs. Now a barking dog could bring unfriendly people. The other is .22 rifle & rifle. I always had them & still do. So I guess for me that is the valley could I manage during a bad time me & mine. The hill is good morning lord look out my windows & there he is in my trees & a blue jay & chickadees I awoke alive & that is not a small tbing.
I had a friend who put a muzzle brake on his 300 Wby. He was beside me but about 2 feet behind. He fired the gun. I have had bad tenitus ever since 15yrs or so. The squeel in your head can be awful
Timber man, good job. I wa sure you were going to win from the 3rd episode or so. What did you do with the extra moose meat? I mean, yeah, some got moldy, but... were you so sick of it you left it for the martens or did you take it to give as souvenirs or something?
Hey Timber you looked like you could have done another 30 days. But so did William so probably would not have won the money. Is there any spin offs from the show that can make serious money because you deserve something for your effort.

We were so close out there, but so damn far apart. Both battling similar problems, day after day. Once in a while, I’m pretty sure I could hear your music in the wind.
Amazing video Timber, my favorite so far. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
The respect, admiration and affection you both have for each other is a beautiful thing. Long live your friendship.
You thought you looked awful, when you saw your reflection, and I thought you looked pretty damn good. Beautiful eyes, and a rugged beard. You actually looked quite cool. You really accomplished something amazing out there; so impressed. -gal

As I said on Dub's channel earlier this morning, at this point, I want all three of you guys to win.
All three guys are so good. They might be out there for a while.
Think Dub somehow told us next episode is the last....
@@Timeren2010 Yes. And he seemed to indicate that it would be a double episode......
@@gashacker1 oh...didnt catch onto that...

Season 11 is the best season so far! Much respect to all the competitors.
I agree - it was something. This guy is so full of charisma, and has the integrity of a man who has lived 1000 lives. Amazing people on this season.

Indeed, Alone is our favorite show on TV! Timber, thank you for displaying your faith, and for sharing your survival skills!! To God be the glory....
Slow clap for all three of you gentleman. Timber, your words struck a chord. Bravo.
Although I am from Canada, but wished you won the prize. Everyone was awesome and the last 3 of you were incredible .But you were the only poet survivalist.
Maybe you didnt win the dollars but for me you are the ultimate champ.

Psalm 27. Legendary. One thing I ask 🙏

You are a complex and an amazing man. Blessings to you.

We'd love to hear the full song, Timber! My family loves your passion and the way you communicate with the camera on Alone.
Thanks Timber! Just watched Dub's recap. You guys rock!
I would like to hear your whole song, please.
Awsome video! Thank you Timber for sharing!
I don't even know who won yet, but you're already a legend. Up there with Jordan Jonas and Roland Welker.
I would enjoy hearing the entire song. Loved your scripture quote!
That is so crazy about the Camera batteries. You’d think they could do something about that.
Great information.
Dub NEEDS a brother/friend like you. I hope you guys hang out in the woods till the end of time.
You made my heart feel so full watching you on the show I loved your mind and your outlook on life
Great POV and recap once again. Thanks Timber.
YES the entire song…PLEASE!!
This season was so hard to watch we wanted all four finals to win! Good Job and we admire the decision you made!
❤️🇨🇦❤️🇨🇦Hi Timber. Mr. Garry and Mrs. Betty here from The Ole Church 5 Acre Homestead! Very Glad to connect with FULL SUPPORT!!!
Thanks for the run-down Timber, what an intense season this has become, absolutely top-notch, Alone at its very best.
We were really rooting for you! Still are! Your faith is inspiring. YES, we want to hear the whole song, lol! ❤
Timber, we loved season 11. We were rooting for you and Dub. Both of you are experts and, of course, William as well. God bless

Interesting content . Reminded of my experience in Nunavut . Many stories. Caio
Man, I wanted all 3 of you to get to some money you all deserved it
Thank you very much for sharing.
The best to you.
I certainly hope that your channel grows exponentially.

While listening to you talk about cloud cover etc it occurred to me to ask if you noticed the change of colour, almost a purple, when it is frigid?
Love ya, from your Ohio friend. God bless you
this guy is the best. let it be known that i picked him on day one. and i knew dub would give him a run though. but it would come down to one single thing......faith in God Almighty. if Dub loved the Father, no one would touch him though. both dudes are great either way. i think ya would want both of em on any real team.
Youre song was epic dude!
I loved you Dub and William. Couldn't have asked for 3 better finalist. I was routing for you all lol
ur right buddy hard is hard, and the Father still delivers the humble from all of their troubles
Pimping for Dub....Love it, great guy
Keep the faith. Win lose or draw I’ll guarantee you God likes how you carry yourself.
Man I was really rooting for you to win and when you grab that sat phone I started to feel let down. But after listening to you I totally understand why you tapped out and I support you 100%. William deserved to win also but I totally enjoyed watching you.

"the silence hit me like a force" that was pretty deep broski
Can you please make a video about your Multi-Tools? Thinking of getting one
Timber. How can we contact you for an interview?
What’s kitty’s name?! ❤
Is there a reason you didnt cut or cook the jerky so it would be easier for the teeth?
Loved watching you on alone especially all your creative bits. Do you play mtg?
Hey Timber- you should try acupuncture for your tinnitus ❤❤❤
I know something Alone can show. How flammable tamarack is.
As Christian’s, we can either give up or Get Up. I prefer the latter
Did you use hot rocks in your sleeping bag at night once the season got cold?
If it couldn’t be you, I’m glad it was the Irish fella. (I know he is Canadian)
Hey Timber you looked like you could have done another 30 days. But so did William so probably would not have won the money. Is there any spin offs from the show that can make serious money because you deserve something for your effort.
