- Learn Spanish descriptions by listening to Juan and Pamela describe people they miss while they are social distancing.They talk about individuals that are important to them using the verb ser with adjectives and basic vocabulary.
This video has words for Spanish physical descriptions, vocabulary for describing personalities, and other useful expressions. It is an excellent way to practice listening for adjective agreement.

Hey! What you can do is listen to it multiple times until you get comfortable with everything. Then, accelerate the video, using the velocity feature of each TH-cam video so it’s faster. Listen to that multiple times & then accelerate it some more. That’ll help you get accustomed to faster speech. Also, read the subtitles out loud to practice your pronunciation. In fact, read everything out loud.

We're glad you find the videos helpful. Under settings (the gear icon), you can turn on subtitles. We put Spanish subtitles on our videos, and there is also an option for auto-translate. Choose English from the list of languages. The English will be machine-generated, so there will be mistakes, but you may find it helpful.
Another strategy is to listen to the video once, then read the transcript (available below the video window where there are three horizontal dots...next to save) or watch with Spanish subtitles, then listen again without subtitles. Although watching with English subtitles gives learners the impression they are understanding Spanish, research shows that much of your attention goes to reading, and you are not actually processing the Spanish well at all. Of course, everyone learns differently, but it is something to consider.

All our videos are made in Mexico. The accent is Mexican, but the vocabulary and structures are very standard.

"Extrañar" y "Echar de menos" quieren decir lo mismo. "Extrañar" se dice más en Latinoamérica y "echar de menos" se usa más en España, pero los son muy comunes.

¡Muy buena pregunta! Lo que dice Juan es "Y seguramente ustedes, al igual que nosotros, pensamos mucho en esas personas." En este caso, Juan se está incluyendo a sí mismo y a Pamela en el grupo y por eso usa la forma "pensamos", pero "piensan" también suena bien aquí.
