A suggestion might be to add a global fund for more growth. Uk stocks only cover a small part of the global stock market. Good you are sticking to the process and strategy
Very helpful and interesting . I wait in anticipation for your October figures . Best of luck . May I ask what is the best way of starting with Legal and General or an ISA ? I really am a novice .
I’m new to investing with T212. Put all my stocks in ‘invest’. Had to sell everything and re buy in ‘stocks ISA’. Today I’ve lost £160. Should I sell everything? My stocks include S&P 500, ASML, NVIDIA etc
I vanguard FTSE world, S&P 500, Ishares Technology and another EFT and I lost on all of them today. Dell, united health, rolls Royce all went down. Even if I bought at a high today, do you think it’s likely in a month or 2 they’ll be even higher?
@@AmbientEscapeYT I carnt tell you where the markets will go but honestly 160 isnt a lot to be down im down £650 in a few stocks (TORM) And other oil stocks ect, I can only tell you not to hit the sell button too soon but obvoiusly its upto you. Can only say stocks go up and down and you carnt time the market. I frquently buy high and sell low you have to kind of dollar cost average as the saying goes.
I just opened a S&S ISA and I’m not gonna lie I’m totally lost and I’m down £3 already lol 😂 There’s so much choice it’s so hard to know where to go, I will definitely be following along with you to get to grips with how this works and hopefully get a bit more savvy in the process 🤞🏻 Here’s to both of us! This time next year, Rodney… 😏🤣
Well done Nicola! Ive got a stocks & shares isa but with Chip so i only invest in funds but have recently been following a few channels that invest in funds specifically for dividend income. May look at transferring next year, who is yours with? Vanguard?
Well done on finding some extra to invest, it’s got to be so difficult as just basic living is expensive these days. You’ve done it once and have a whole heap of experience which will help as you adapt to your current situation. Don’t forget to take time to give yourself a pat on the back for what you’ve achieved in unexpected, and no doubt unwelcome, circumstances. ❤
Always a good feeling to surpass £100 in a month. Getting back on track again Nicola! All the best and thanks for sharing the video.
Thank you for watching!

Good point! I did have a global fund before I had to sell it all; it’s definitely on my list ☺️
Great video 👍 that’s still a great dividend outcome 👍

You’d have to do your own research :) I use Hargreaves Lansdown for my ISA - there’s a link in the description box.
September is always such a good dividend month! Thanks Nicola for this.
Thank you for watching!
Well done Nicola ❤
Thank you 💜
Well done you!

My September Dividends were £996.46
Wow! What companies paid out that? I can’t wait until I have numbers like this ☺️

Ride the wave my friend. I too many times have pulled the trigger for the stock to go up after. Diversify and if risk averse go ETFs.

It’s a long term game - don’t check every day!
At least it is still extra income and as you say money for doing nothing. I have no doubt you will build it up over time😀👍
Absolutely ☺️

How do you invest to get dividends?
You buys shares in companies that pay out dividends :)
@@NicolaatTheFrugalCottage where do you normally find those at?
There are SO many! You’ll have to do research ☺️
