It was good, but I'm left slightly disappointed nonetheless. Thanks for the comment!

Great video! Hey Wolfe has a very specific style and I hold no grudges if it doesn’t work for everyone. My experience with Wolfe has definitely been that you need to read to the end of whatever project you’re reading. (So if it’s a standalone trilogy or what have you.) I think there’s a lot in New Sun that you’d find fascinating but as I said, it’s not for everyone.
I really need to get to McCammon those sound amazing!

I'll save my full thoughts for a review or a discussion video about The Wizard Knight, but I'm a bit irritated with Wolfe's tendency to throw a bunch of stuff at you and never really giving you a moment to really sit with the story and let his worlds speak for themselves. I hope that makes sense. I'll see what I think once I get into The Wizard.

Love your Joker2 take! Haha. I gots to see it now! With all the hate it’s been getting I’m really fascinated, especially since I’ve got a new found love for the first movie.

To be fair, I think the first one's pretty overrated. Still a good movie, but I think other films like Taxi Driver and First Reformed have done the concept that Joker plays with better. I had fun with Joker: Folie a Deux because it has great music and it's clear there was a lot of passion put into it.

Speaks the Nightbird is so good! I haven't moved on to any of the other Matthew Corbett books yet though

It's always nice when an author that's been hyped up is as good as advertised.
