I still think that the graphics of this game are outstanding for a game from 2006. I also remember playing this non-stop with my dad and both of us being SHOCKED when we saw that Brainiac was actually Darkseid. After we defeated Brainiac, we thought the game was over. Little did we know that the true conflict was only just beginning, lol. Great video!
Yeah, that final battle was awesome. Though Darkseid was a boss, I felt my Superman was an equal match to almost go head on blow for blow which was awesome.
While I remember the X-men games being better overall, I really did like this game. It was especially fun once you got to unlock characters like Aquaman and Hawkgirl. Hell this game is probably what made me an Aquaman fan to begin with
I recently have been watching the old JLU episodes and got interested in playing. a justice league game... had to hunt down 4 copies of this game before I found a working copy... as far as I know it’s the only JL game in existence...they should make a sequel
My favourite game of all time. I have the ps2 version so I don't have supergirl or black canary but despite that I have loads of fun. I even found out that each character has unique dialogue if you don't press any buttons for a couple of minutes. From batman asking the player if they've been kicked out their mother's basement, to the flash going on and on about buying bread then yelling at the player to hurry up. This game for me is very addictive and I've completed it loads of times. Very comprehensive video btw
Had a ton of fun with this, I can ONLY hope this, the Xmen and the other games they did get a remaster as these were truly amazing fun co op games. Then again I been wanting the Dark Alliance remaster and yea so far nada lol. Thanks as always Joe the Nostalgia was yummy this afternoon.
Glad you enjoyed it! I think X- Legends 1 and 2 are two pretty perfect games! MUA 1 is a bit more streamlined with the rpg stuff but the cast and selection is vast! MUA 2 has a solid interpretation of Civil War! I have only played Dark Alliance 1 and really enjoyed it :)

I didn't realize how much I wanted a the flash game after playing this.....especially when you max out your dash abilities, I wish we could get a decent game that let's you be a speedster and run around a open world
@@joethealternativegamer3935 I bought the game on my psvita then I decided to get ppsspp on my phone and it not only runs really smooth but I can use cheats and use the flash for every mission, I honsetly don't ever see a flash game ever coming out because devs are getting lazy and if they did make a flash game it would probably be a microtransactions mess like the new marvel ultimate alliance........I played that game for 1 hour and never touched it again beacuse of how shit it felt and was gameplay wise, the flash would be a perfect super hero game especially seeing the development videos of the canceled flash game......I wish we could get a whole community of fans to start a Kickstarter for a game that let's you feel like the flash........besides we can always get mods and have the flash skin anyway

Until now, I have not seen a DC game with these number of playable DC characters except for injustice games and Lego games. To summarize, it offers the biggest roster of DC characters in a game. Also, the gameplay of the flash was so fun if you remember (everyone's gameplay was great but for me the flash gameplay was super exciting). Also, throughout the game we encounter many famous villains from DC and the final fight with Darkseid was so memorable to me. Moreover, as you said the gameplay and combat was so satisfying and addictive. pretty much everything about this game was great to me and if there was any flaw, the positive points about this game totally overshadowed them.

This was a very good retrospective of this game, the restrictive character selections and some of the voice acting were my biggest problems with this game. I really didn't care for the voice acting for Batman it was just bad. Other than those few things I really enjoyed the game and would like to see a sequel that dive as deeply into the DC universe as the first Marvel Ultimate Alliance game did into the Marvel universe.
I just want a good pc port of Marvel ultimate alliance.... 😐 Also, as I predicted Days Gone will finally receive pc port... I'm not just happy... I'm ultra happy)))
this is a fun game that doesn't reach its full potential. like you said, not being able to choose your characters for most of the game is really bad, and not having a hub to manage your team is also very inconvenient. also half of the unlockable characters are just skins of other characters which was a lazy choice by the developers. it feels low budget in its scope.
You could look into turning your series s into an emulation machine. That system is supposed to be great at it! Then you might be able to run the ps2 or psp version

Ron perlman as batman isn't for everyone. But I always wanted a sequel. Maybe a battle mode and have you choose characters for most levels
