When people ask for a lesser known fight to watch, this has been the one I’ve always recommended for the last 10 years. Over 1000 punches thrown a piece. Omar broke his hands, broken nose, Arakawa broken orbital bone. Literally non stop punching for 12 rounds
These types of fighters are the ones who should receive bigger purses and extra bonuses for the great battle they give and the spectacle they put on for us. These are fights. There should be an organization that does something and puts more control on boxing. In fights that are fixed in favoritism, many times those who lose should also win, since it is the spectacle that they put on for the public. This is real boxing.
I Agree With This. Make Boxing Great Again. Alot Of Fighters Want Easy Careers & Cherry Picks. No Excuses. No More Mismatches. No Weight Bullying. No Weight Draining. No PEDS. And Decent Payouts For All Fighters. It Can Be Done.
Not too many people like the lower weight divisions. Little do they know that the lower weight divisions have just as much action as the higher weight divisions, if not more.
I’d have to agree. Pretty good war, very even fight. Neither one has real explosive power but Arakawa knows has a granite chin. Figueroa would’ve dropped lesser fighters with some of those shots.
What a decision unanimous i think this is not fare for the japanese figher they are almost even or split favor for figuiroa the desision is very defirint,,any congrats for figuiroa that is boxing 🥊🥊,
Sadly This Was One Of Omar Figueroas Last Great Preformances. Aside From Robert The Ghost Guerrero & Maybe John Molina But He Never Was The Same After This Fight. His Style Caught Up With Him. But It Was Very Entertaining To Watch When He Was At The Top Of His Peak Game. Fighters Don't Have This Spirit Anymore. They Don't Make Fights Like This Anymore. Nowadays Just Cherry Picks & Easy Money Fights. No Risky Fights. Boxers Have Lost Their Balls Now. Boxing Is Just About Money Now , Boxing Is Full Of Hypejobs , Stepping Stones & Washed Up Journey Men Getting Taken Advantage Of By Greedy Promoters.
Worst judgment and this type of judges need to go to school on how to judge a boxing match. Both boxers did good. I would give a draw, and both come back another day to give me a clear card. To score 8 to 9 rounds, difference is total misjudgment. I disagree with the judges.
Mexicans are born in adversity and always rise. Living next to the USA proves my point. One fourth of this country belonged to Mexico before the Manifest Destiny came into play.
These guys that fight outside of Japan are typically not as skilled and have to try to fight somewhere else (USA) for some money. The skilled ones stay in Japan where they can make way more money.

The most underrated rivalry in boxing
Mexico vs japan and it produces fights of the year candidates
I like Japanese and Mexican boxers match up.
Arakawa reminds me of Takashi Miura. They have big huevos.
I am Mexican and have plenty of respect for my Japanese brothers. Love how they recovered from adversity just like our Mexican people do.
@@roldanramirez3188 Yes, I feel same as you for mi Mexican hermanos. They deserved big respect.
A samurai and mexica warrior!!
They're the ones that put on the most exciting fights these days.
All ethnicities who box are warriors.
@@zombiesRUseless6880Because black American boxers are superior.

Rispic two fighter strong the best fighting
Great match. convinced someone told Arakawa he’d never be a fighter so he stuck around just to prove them wrong
What a fight! Why does it have so few views.
Not too many people like the lower weight divisions. Little do they know that the lower weight divisions have just as much action as the higher weight divisions, if not more.
what a fight kudos to Arakawa and his family
Estos boxeadores no me durmieron, como las Floyd Mauwueder
Mutant vs Zombie👏😁♥️
I’d have to agree. Pretty good war, very even fight. Neither one has real explosive power but Arakawa knows has a granite chin. Figueroa would’ve dropped lesser fighters with some of those shots.
Do not stay in the Rope, Run to the Center ,Figueroa,

brain damage
i dont like the refferee
Mexican American, his dad and mom are from Tamaulipas Mexico
@@ADRIANRAMIREZ-pq5qx and he is always in problematic fights
@@megalepivolos Can't argue with that! Omar is retired now, but his Brother Brandon has the same style.
@@ADRIANRAMIREZ-pq5qx thanks God one shit less
Pukulan paling ngwur
Chino lacks training
Chino no speed no power
Mojito has no power
punching of arakawa no power,
Al canelo no le pedimos mucho solo un poquito de esto
Figueroa is American
Es hijo de mexicanos por lo tanto es mexicano
Mexicans are born in adversity and always rise. Living next to the USA proves my point. One fourth of this country belonged to Mexico before the Manifest Destiny came into play.
For some odd reason, when the Japanese fight outside Japan, they lose.
shut up mate 👍

Don't sit here and tell me you think this guy Arakawa is anywhere close to as skilled as the champions Japan has today
I have more respect for Arakawa than for Inoue because Arakawa came to the US to fight real fighters Inoue just want to be at Japan he has no ballsss
Beterviev vs bivol. Is a 0 in the left. Compared whit this fight
