Damn that was a hell of a fight and both these guys are as tough hell! Kokietgym was countering Salido well off the ropes with that big left hand! First time I have seen him fight, definitely want to see him again, got a lot of heart, good chin, great power and good defense when he started to box Salido, but just couldn't resist going toe to toe! Salido has just got an unrelenting determination and a great chin to withstand some of those bombs Kokietgym was dropping on it! It becomes very demotivating when you throw everything but the kitchen sink at guys like Salido only to have them keep coming! All the respect in the world to these two! Salido has always been a mixed bag for me. I respect the fact that even though his record is riddled with losses (12 I think) he's still one of the top guys in his division, he's always found a way to bounce back after losses. Very old school, unlike nowadays every fighter is handled carefully into an undefeated streak, and once they lose their stock drops dramatically. However, he did positive test for Nandrolone and I hate the fact that he consistently low blows. To me that offense is just as annoying as rabbit punching, clinching, or pushing.

Siri's performance was awesome! Nice combinations round by round and i think the key for Siri were the body punches he connected to Kokietgym since the first rounds. Terdsak who is a great counterpuncher could not resist anymore those low body punches after the 9th round so in the 11th he was simply suffocated. Siri was intelligent during the fight even though he was knocked down 3 times. This is the kind of fights we want to watch. I respect Mayweather defensive style but this is the boxing we really want to see not running around. Great fight!

Big comeback win for Siri against a very tough and strong challenger. After the first three rounds, I was thinking he could be out of it but Orlando has a big heart and the mentality of a warrior. He came back HUGE and scored a very dramatic knockout. Congrats to him. Great effort by Kokietgym.

This ref was the total opposite of the way Kenny Bayless reffed the Maywether vs Maidana fight. Kenny allowed Floyd to hold all night and wouldn't allow in fighting. Kenny yelled break all night long. This ref yelled no holding all night long. The ref can play a huge part in the outcome of a fight. If Salido was fighting Mayweather, and Bayless was the ref, Salido wouldn't do shit. Floyd would just outbox him from the outside all night, and anytime Salido did get close enough to do any in fighting, Floyd would just hold and wait for Kenny to separate them. So Floyd would win a boring clinchfest for a UD. With this fight, Terdsak wasn't allowed to clinch on the inside. He had to fight on the inside.

Don't see how anyone could smacktalk this fight, two warriors left nothing in reserve and fought like animals. More than you can say for a lot of "top-tier" fights these days.

Well it is in Mexico where the thailand language isn't common. and body shots sometimes do go wrong and go in the D but salido is a better fighter.
English was the language I was referring to here: tends to be used even in fights between two Japanese fighters, actually. Salido has his "D" tendencies, but no one denies he was the better fighter here. Interesting how difficult it was, though.
