Nice video Sam. I am just starting out on my freelance web design business. For me now I think, I need to do more of social media as it is free. Thanks for sharing.
I'm running a small wordpress agency from Bangladesh! I was studying how to acquire new clients, everyone almost talk about same thing like funding dentist etc in local area & propose them! I just found your one so transparent & straight. Much love dude💙 Keep spreading content.. Hopefully I'll catch you in a email to discuss something cool! Regards.
Hlo brother I am also thinking of doing this but i have a question How do I ask the client to access his website How will the client provide their website for me to SEO service
@@mk15yagoto6 if the deal is finalized, tyen normally they'll provide you admin access or editor access of website backend. For wordpress & big website with sensitive case they can customize the access of your role with wordpress plugin. Just simply say that you’ve to work on few plugins ex: yoast seo then they'll provide credentials.
@shadin_im hey bro! so how do you get clients? because ranking on SEO can take decades and growing on social media too. I started cold emailing & thinking to try on freelance websites(altho it's too competitive).
A lot was trial and error in all honesty but my best advice is get someone who knows what they're doing to help set things up if you're not sure how to get the best results 👍
Any other free techniques or methods that can be used maybe that dont have a big marketing budget, like IG etc. Is it a good option and in yr opinion is it even worth the while?
I'm sure there's lots dude and yes I'm sure Instagram is definitely useful. I only mentioned the techniques I use in this video, so my advice is to try a little bit of everything to see what works for you 👍
Hi Miguel, I don't have a course on finding clients (that's coming one day) but I do have a couple of courses on skillshare about Webflow and I'm about to release a more up to date one in the next week or so 👍
Hello sam, I was thinking if you can shed light or create a video on how to approach and convince local businesses to get a website as a newbie designer and how much you charge not to scare them away.
@@sam-harrison l am a Nigerian that's a country in Africa the problem is mostly country getting businesses to invest in the Websites is not really easy because some businesses still carry a crude mindset but on the bright side if I get connected to people like you I might have access to businesses outside my region and work internationally but I will be very great full if you can create a video on how to convince and approach businesses that can afford a website but don't really know the benefits of having a website Thanks cheers ✌️
Thank you for the video Sam I started web development business 👨🏽💼 I was thinking of doing all this and hiring a reciter and 2 Developers to complete assignments and more for me while I over see things but I need a lot of studying and income to get this started what do you think?
So you spent £1,500 just to achieve £2,000 in sales? and you also need to spend time to build those websites? Doesn't sound like a good strategy to me.
No, my average project cost is between £8k to £10k. I said the absolute minimum you’d want to be charging in general, is £2000 before considering any money in google ads. That £1500 mentioned in the video ended up in 3 client projects.
@@sam-harrison Thanks for clarifying it. Do you think generating total income that are at least 8 to 10 times of the ads expenses would be a good start?
