For those people who wrote negative comment about this video..i dont think there is any wrong thing..
I am also a nonworking mother and i know what difficulties i face to manage baby and house..its too difficult to manage everything..everyone knows it..
But when u r working so u have to manage baby house plus your job..so it becomes more difficult as compared to non working mother..
In this video she only tell about benefits of being a working mother not about nonworking mother..

I want to add few things. I was a working woman before delivery. I left my job after delivery, I will also join back but when my doll will turn 3 years then. I feel that initial 3 years in a child's life are very crucial and they need a mother the most. Job u can always join back but these years will not come back again. If u really have financial problem then condition is different but if it's OK then I feel u should spend these initial 2,3 years with your kids. U can do part time job oif someone is there at home to look for or work from home is always the best option if u get.
I miss my job life but I am more happy and feel proud to raise my doll the way I wanted, there are so beautiful moments which I have spend with her, so much to love. So I would like to say please live these moments. Money, job, fame, all u can earn again.

Hi Mansi. I completely agree with you on few of ur points. My mother too is a working mom.So many things that u shared I relate myself with it.I too was working full time almost 8years before I had my baby.My daughter is 18months old now and I chose to take a break till my daughter is 3yrs old.I was a full time working woman till I conceived .And I dont regret it at all.A stay at home mom also spends a lot of quality time with kids it's absolutely not necessary that only a working mom does that.I truly and totally respect working Mothers infact I many a times feel it's a tough task they do . HATS OFF to them. But spending quality time with ur kid doesn't depend on whether u r working or no.U are in a way demeaning moms who are staying at home for whatever reason be it by (choice or force).Hence I feel u should also rethink on this.Hope u take this in the right spirit. Lastly u r doing a great job and continue doing it.Best wishes to u.

Great video but sometimes children becomes very offensive and feel lonely if they don't see their parents whole day .. Quality time can be achieved by work from home or a simple homemaker too. Bcoz travelling to office n coming back n doing all stuff at home makes you tired.. It totally depends on person to person n baby to baby. I think no small baby wants her mother to stay away from her. Especially in a nuclear family it's very difficult. We cannot rely on daycare. It affects the mental growth of a baby. May be he become very much offensive in nature throughout his life. Majburi me job like financial condition k karan v krna Hota h sometimes. In that case family support is a must so the they can take care of baby.
But if there is an option like work from home then we can opt it. I m also planning to do job, Ryt now work from home as my baby is 19 month old only. Once he will be 5 yr then I can go out n work if circumstances will be good at that time.

Whatever benefits you listed about working mother are great I appreciate it.. but the only mistake you did in this video is that you didn't stick to your topic. Your topic wasn't 'stay at home mom (vs) working mom's' your topic was only about benefits of working mom.. you shouldn't have compared a working mom with a stay at home mom. This is the reason why people are leaving negative comments on this video.. being your well-wisher I thought I must tell this to you.. stick to the topic and never compare or judge a great person on planet called MOM

Thank u mam for bringing out these points ❤️. As a working mother , me roj apni job ke liye thankful hoti hu and inn sab benefits ko feel krti hu but fir ghar jakr vohi tanne sunne pdte hai pati se ,ki ap krte hi kya ho ,pura din toh mummy sambhalte hai bache ko , baat baat pr achi maa na hone ke liye sunaya jata hai . Mujhe bilkul bhi guilt nhi hai working mother hone ka ,but baar baar taane maar kr guilty feel krwaya jata hai . I agree with your point ki koi maa achi ya buri nhi hoti , jo bhi maa apne bache ko paalne ke liye koshish kr rhi hai , roj kuch naya seekh rhi hai ,vo achi maa hai . 6 months maternity leave me i suffered from post partum depression, and no one including my husband understood my problem. It is my job only ,jiski vjah se aj me theek hu , khush hu and most importantly apne bache ka khush rakh pa rhi hu .

  • @malobikaray7924

I agree with you Mansi completely. Another advantage of working mom, what I feel is, after some years when babies grow up in their teens they are not at all dependent on their mothers and the create their own world on the other hand mom who's world consists of only their children are left alone and this disparity creates loneliness in mom's life .. but if she is working chances are she will not succumb to this loneliness at a later age when joining or rejoining a job is impossible..

I quit my job to take care of my kid as many mom's did and we don't waste our time just for house hold works as you said, we try to make entire day as a quality of time with our baby. Thanks alot for your videos because it helps me alot as I don't have anyone to help me except my hubby.

Mansi ji your situation of working from home seems ideal becoz you are always around Kabir.👍
In my opinion both parents should share household and/or kid(s) responsibilities if both of'em are working otherwise it would be unwise and like doing overtime for woman to look after kid(s), her house, her office, her husband and obviously herself. If she is working to support and not solely for her passion then husband MUST share responsibilities.
point# 1 parents become role model based on their behaviour with the child and not by being a working parent. A mother can stay at home and even then can inculcate gender equality in her kids mind by showing them practical example of their father helping their mother in household chores and on contrary a working mother can feed gender inequality in her kids' minds by complaining about office politics at home and how her promotion was withheld and a male peer was promoted.

Since then i have always felt guilty of not spending time with her but now i have learnt that whatever time i have, i have to spend quality time. And the thought of being a role model for her is always in my mind whenever I feel frustrated or feel like quitting my job. That gives me strength to carry on with life and continue my career dreams. Thanks for the video Mansi. 🙂

Yes Mansiji.. I am a working mom.. I can relate to it so much.. my baby will be of 2 years this month. I joined my work when he was 6 months old. Still my dilemma is there.. now also I sometime want to leave my job and dedicate my all time to my baby. but I know the reality. Practically nothing is easy whether u r a working mom or stay at home mom. Stay at home mom also have to do lots of work and cannot give give all her time to her baby. We all r overburdened & r dying to get some me time..also worried for ur baby's all round growth. Dilemma is always there what will be best for my baby. So now a days I try to give as much quality time I can give to our baby.. and rest leave it to god. I think giving too much time to a baby will make him or her dependent. We must try to be satisfied first with whatever we r doing. A happy and relax mom is d best because than only baby will be grown up as a happy and relax person and will enjoy his mother's company.

Oh you just made my day. My daughter is 9 months old and I resumed work post 6 months of leave. Since then each day I feel guilty of not getting to spend time with her and miss watching her milestones and contemplate about whether to continue working or leave the job. But having been on maternity leave I know the other side too where one gets bored staying at home and having worked for so many years you really can't sit at home. But yes at the same time managing work, home, our own health sometimes gets really overwhelming. Especially when you get only that one hour with your kid daily you leave everything and spend that time with your baby as you so rightly said.

Hey Mansi, first of all thanku for making video on this topic, it really means a lot because i am also a working woman and all lady out there deserve huge respect. As you asked more points according to me working woman earns self respect which is very important, and she is a independent woman, she can buy anything for her baby, she doesn't need to compromise or she doesn't need to be depend on husband's money, every mother wants to do best for her child. Salute to all mother and respect.

Felt really proud of myself today after this video! Thank u guys for this one. One benefit which i feel of being a working mom is the kid has started staying and feeling comfortable with other family member and is not stuck just to mom or dad particularly. He has started to adjust the surrounding instantly.
And i feel proud of taking him to a toy shop and letting him choose his toy and pay myself.

It's such a refreshing change to listen to the pros of being a working mom. Most of the videos or podcasts or articles talk about the challenges of being a working mom but it was such a relief to listen to the benefits. I would request if you could ponder and do a video on being single parent. It might be difficult since *touchwood u have a wholesome family. But these days more and more parents are either getting separated or getting widowed so it would be helpful for them.
    Thanks a Lot

Mansi It's a really feel good video. It must have helped many working mothers. When I got married (love marriage) a very jealous relative from my in-laws side kept on asking me when will I leave my govt job ( working as senior officer since last 11 years) and how will I manage after baby. Being reticent at most times and being just married that too love marriage I never tried to reply her back. However I told my mom in law who is a very good lady and she said she will help me in every possible way and there is no need for me to think negative. Her daughter is not working and she is so very jealous of me see me grow, earn etc. Now after I gave birth to my baby I sometimes felt homesick and thought of leaving my job someday in future but after watching your feel good video it worked as a short therapy for me and now I have enough points to shut her mouth whenever she restarts her verbal diarrhoea. Thanks..
