I don't have a separate video. They are nice and stiff. Combined with my subframe bushings there is additional gear noise and road noise in the cabin, but it feels much more solid. I used to feel the back end wiggling around on hard pulls and that is gone.
All coupes are the same. I think bk2 has stubs for the axles so you may be able to unbolt them and keep the stubs in the diff. If you pull the diff out.
How’d you get the diff off from the drive shaft? I removed the three bolts connecting the diff to the shaft and it won’t come off. I’m trying to take the diff off with the crossmember.
When I lowered it with the jack it will tilt and come off. It's not just bolts that hold it on, there is a shaft from the diff that sticks into the driveshaft. You'll have to unbolt the center carier bearing to get enough space to take off the driveshaft.
Thanks for the DIY! Quick question on the subframe, can I drop the diff and subframe together? I only need to replace the subframe bushings. Do you have any more of the subframe bushings for sale? Also, how do you think these would hold up for a drift car?
You might be able to do that. I needed the diff out anyway. The rest of the job was with a single jack and I was laying on my back so I worked with what I had. I don't see why these wouldn't perform well for drifting. They're solid and a slightly higher durometer than stock. If you email me at info@appliedfunction.com we can discuss more.
I agree that it isn't great. I may just make my own and cast a bushing. I'm find with it for now though, but the subframe will cut into the urethane sooner rather than later the way it is now.
I am actually in the process of making more of them. I've improved the design from what I show in the video. It's something I'm going to be offering to the community.
Thank you for your interest. Would you email me, info@appliedfunction.com. I have a few sets that I just made, but posting a price isn't something I want to do if it changes in the future.
About the differential bushings do you have review?

When I take the axels out of the differential do I have to drain it first?
Yes. Otherwise it'll come out those holes when you remove them anyway.
What differential mount kit did you use?
Thank you and appreciate the video🤙.
I thought I said it in the vid, but it is the kit from Gencoupestore.com
Same process for 2013 3.8 coupe ?

@@Weekend_Garage thank you hella!!! Appreciate you!

@@Weekend_Garage email sent! Thanks
I think that the fourth bushing area needs to be reinforced. A steel plate with the same shape as atq would be great but welded to the subframe.

Are you going to drop the files for these custom subframe bushings and go over how to make them?
I am actually in the process of making more of them. I've improved the design from what I show in the video. It's something I'm going to be offering to the community.
@@Weekend_Garage you're a real MVP.. please make a video about what you're doing when they're ready
@@gilphroy I have them available. They're not split like in my vid so install is easier. Please email me if you're interested in a set.
How much do you charge for a set of these subframe bushings

@@Weekend_Garagewhat’s your email? I’m interested but can’t find your email to message you
Yes I am need that kit for my bk2
Which do you mean? The subframe or the diff bushings?
@@Weekend_Garage yes
If you're still interested I have the final version complete and available.
Do you still make them? I sent you an email

Apologies for my delay. I still have molds, but I am not currently making any parts to sell.
