I was in the hospital recovering from surgery when this episode aired. I was a kid. I remember I was kinda sad and depressed because I wanted to go home. Then my mother asked if there was anything on tv I wanted to watch. Then I remembered it was Friday so a new Clone Wars was airing. It cheered me up. My mother got me the season 1 box set for Christmas later that year. I love my mom. Though she was shocked how dark this show is.
Kids cartoons should be fully capable of telling dark and mature stories like these, like they always had back in the day. Calling cartoons aired on Cartoon Network not for kids because it isn’t safe brainrot is the stupidest thing the clone wars fandom still keeps doing.
This episode made me completely feel that Barris, since the end of season 5, still had the worm inside her head, or at least a small chunk still tapping at her brain. I say this because she’s the most calmest person ever before Ashokas trial, and yet she pulls off one of the most insane bomb plots ever in the series. It would seem like Barris, had she had any misgivings about the Jedi order, she would’ve been the kind of girl who would make posters and signs for protesting against the order with friends, and not planting a bomb in a person. What if the worm tapped into her for a moment in time to do something violent, or to change the way she viewed the world. It’s pretty creepy seeing that brain damage take her to dark places.
Feel like Barriss is a lost individual. She was always caring and wanting to help others. I can see why she thought the Jedi shouldn’t have been so involved in the wars. She got angry and led astray, the dark side was too tempting. Palpatine was right in one aspect, good is a point of view.
I believe she saw too much suffering and war which was opposite of her ideal world view, she deemed jedi as warmongers.. I am not sure if she is right or not but she shouldn't have betrayed to her friends
@StephenLuke Says me. Childish money spin offs, could have been so much better. Truth hurts. Also it doesn't matter, I've already given it and you cared about it enough to reply lol.

Glad you recovered bro
Seasons 1 and 2 arent that dark lol.
@@miniaturejayhawk8702 Worms... going to people mouths and controlling their brains... yeah... thats kinda dark.
Wait till she see's season 3-7. Especially.
And did that episode still give you PTSD as a adult after that surgery 2 decades ago?
This scene portrays a possessed teenager briefly regaining control, begging her friend to kill her.
You know, for kids!
Any kid that cant handle this isnt worth raising tbh...
This show was made when Cartoon Network had guts and actually made decent cartoons.

My aunt Luna teaches her 4 year old twins how to hunt wild animals this is nothing lol

@@AccurateThings my aunt Luna teaches her kids how to hunt down wild bears
Very order 66 vibes with the evil clones.
Also-those vents are HUGE
🧟♂🧟♀🧟
if ahsoka had her jedi knight outfit on, she would have been a bit warmer.
Ik what was her outfit choice 😂

That would be a nice insanity plea in court.
Or the effects of the Geonosian brain worms may have affected her mental health long term.
They used this soundtrack for the Zillo Beast level in Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars! Very nostalgic!!!
Foreshadow Bariss' betrayal later on lol
If I had a nickel for everytime Ahsoka and Barris fought then I’d have two nickels, which isn’t a lot but it’s kinda weird that it happened twice.
Ahsoka is so cute when she tries to resonate Barriss 😇
This foreshadowed their fight in the warehouse 3 seasons later
She was prepared for Order 66 after the brain worm incident
possessed and brainwashed episode
they need more of that
funny enough, barris becomes evil and framed ahsoka for her crimes lol
Barriss Offee as Inquisitor In Tales of The Empire, Obi Wan Kenobi, The Mandalorian, Book of Boba Fett and Ahsoka seasons 1-2-3-4
Offee did appear as an Inquisitor in Tales of the Empire but was absent from all the other shows mentioned.
@@abhinavbhargava978 Barriss Offee used Force Healing
@@manuelgrothe608 It's possible that happened after the Fourth Sister carried her out of the cave, but we don't know if that's the case.
Barriss is creepy to me for some reason
She is a psychotic person who is also possessed here
To be fair, shes meant to here. After all she's actually posessed here for kost of it.

ahsoka inside barriss offfee brain worm.
That must of been one strong Brain Worm to still be functioning in the cold.

season 2
episode 8
3:30 demonic screams
I remember this being my favorite episode as a kid😭 I don’t get what people find disgusting and dark about it😓
Being possessed by worms is very creepy.
But that makes it compelling to watch.
“Kill me”.
You ever think how different the Star Wars universe would be, if Ashoka had done what Barriss asked?
The animated series are so so bad.
Says who? Nobody cares about your opinion.
