It seems to be a Mandalorian thing. Bo Katan is just as cowardly and dishonorable. She's fine with being a terrorist until Maul honorably kills Pre Vizla, and then she turns against Deathwatch and starts a rebellion and acts like she's a good guy. Mandalorians are weird.
I like that Obi-Wan was clearly just toying with him. Kenobi saw that Vizsla didn't have much or any skill with the Darksaber and he could have killed him any moment, but he didn't. He pushed him back, disarmed him, and humiliated him in front of his soldiers by beating him with only his fists. You can see when Vizsla charges at Obi-Wan in the end, Kenobi puts his saber down and goes in for the humiliation. Truly a master of trolling.

They'd have to be mentally wanting to be faster and more agile I'm pretty sure. During that fight Maul's attacks and reactions seemed slower. He wasn't lighting-quick like when he fights Kenobi or Palpatine. He completely stopped using The Force to be honorable.

Technically no, in order for obi wan to have a right to the sword he would have needed to officially challenge pre visla to duel to rule like maul did and if obi was worthy the sword would allow him to use it.
I mean, for obi wan attempt to lay claim to it he would have to HAVE the darksaber, if Vizla was honorable he would have given it up or fought to the death, but obi wan didn't use the force to grab the darksaber, thus his claims would have had a limited effect.

The mayority of the Death Watch warriors use a weaker alloy of beskar or durastel in their amors due how difficult it is to find that unique iron on Mandalore. That being the man reason why they can die from one blaster direct shot.
I love this scene because Vizsla really thinks he can hang with Obi-Wan who has had years of lightsaber training unlike Vizsla, it truly was an easy fight for Obi-Wan.

I think those rules apply if Obi-Wan challenged him with the intend to rule as Mand'alor. He only fought because Vizla was in his way of getting off the moon
He still seemed to lack stamina. Maybe, not under normal circumstances, but Vizsla seemed to get noticably tired while fighting against Force-users like Kenobi and Maul (the latter of whom excels at wearing out his enemies before killing them).
Even though he didn’t appear in this show that much, Pre Vizsla was still a pretty cool character. We got introduced to the idea of Mandalorians through him, Satine, and a few other Mandorians. We also got introduced to the Darksaber, one of the most interesting lightsabers ever created.

So correct me if I'm wrong but according the the dark saber rules Kenobi was entitled to rule Mandalore after this. The Dooku defeats Kenobi, Anakin defeats Dooku and Obi Wan defeats Anakin so it's back to Obi Wan. Then he dissolves into the force so I guess it's Vader, then Luke defeats Vader. But Luke dissolves into the force after fighting Kylo so I guess it's Kylo's until Rey stabs him. So Rey is the rightful ruler of Mandalore 💀
Woah that’s spooky I just had a dream today that luminara turned to the dark side while order 66 was going on and I was on a ship and ahsoka was struggling to fight her so I ignited the darksaber and said I’ll go help her so we tried to talk her down and she seemed to calm down for a second but then she tried to stab ahsoka and I ended up cutting her head off it was messed up I felt bad luckily my dream wasn’t graphic and I didn’t see her head on the ground or blood honestly it was more like a videogame and I think she despawned sort of

He stopped using it to enhance his speed and reflexes to make the duel more honorable and give Pre Vizla a fighting chance. The only time he used The Force was to jump up high to knock Pre Vizla down who was using his jetpack, which was kind of cheating considering that Maul was only using a Lightsaber while Pre Vizla was using all of his gadgets.
Because both Maul and Kenobi were toying with him, Maul refused to use the Force and was fight without Force enhancements and only using his lightsaber meanwhile, Kenobi USED the Force and hesitated to just straight up kill Vizsla because he doesn't do that
If the rules applied Obi-Wan would be the rightful owner, be was besting Pre Vizsla, who then cheated with his Mandos. So Pre Vizsla had forfeited, his claim.
My opinion of the Darksaber being made by a Jedi Mandalorian can be summed up with modifying the quote Pre Visla just made... Tar Visla tarnishes the very name “Mandalorian”... And I don’t care for the Mandalorian culture...
I have theory about Tar Viszla being the only Jedi mandalorian. In that he was a Jedi lord. And made this dark saber during the new Sith wars. He founded house Viszla and his saber was in the Jedi temple upon his death. Meaning that he was respected enough to lead mandalore and to be considered a Jedi. Him being a Jedi lord would explain why he was able to do so. That or he was hunted and killed by the Jedi and the blade taken

So correct me if I'm wrong but according the the dark saber rules Kenobi was entitled to rule Mandalore after this.
The Dooku defeats Kenobi, Anakin defeats Dooku and Obi Wan defeats Anakin so it's back to Obi Wan.
Then he dissolves into the force so I guess it's Vader, then Luke defeats Vader.
But Luke dissolves into the force after fighting Kylo so I guess it's Kylo's until Rey stabs him.
So Rey is the rightful ruler of Mandalore 💀

Woah that’s spooky I just had a dream today that luminara turned to the dark side while order 66 was going on and I was on a ship and ahsoka was struggling to fight her so I ignited the darksaber and said I’ll go help her so we tried to talk her down and she seemed to calm down for a second but then she tried to stab ahsoka and I ended up cutting her head off it was messed up I felt bad luckily my dream wasn’t graphic and I didn’t see her head on the ground or blood honestly it was more like a videogame and I think she despawned sort of

@@atomicwarrior665 Also Maul didn't use The Force at all during his fight with Pre Vizla. He stopped using it to enhance his speed and reflexes to make the duel more honorable and give Pre Vizla a fighting chance.
The only time he used The Force was to jump up high to knock Pre Vizla down who was using his jetpack, which was kind of cheating considering that Maul was only using a Lightsaber while Pre Vizla was using all of his gadgets.
Because both Maul and Kenobi were toying with him, Maul refused to use the Force and was fight without Force enhancements and only using his lightsaber meanwhile, Kenobi USED the Force and hesitated to just straight up kill Vizsla because he doesn't do that

My opinion of the Darksaber being made by a Jedi Mandalorian can be summed up with modifying the quote Pre Visla just made... Tar Visla tarnishes the very name “Mandalorian”... And I don’t care for the Mandalorian culture...
I have theory about Tar Viszla being the only Jedi mandalorian. In that he was a Jedi lord. And made this dark saber during the new Sith wars.
He founded house Viszla and his saber was in the Jedi temple upon his death. Meaning that he was respected enough to lead mandalore and to be considered a Jedi. Him being a Jedi lord would explain why he was able to do so.
That or he was hunted and killed by the Jedi and the blade taken
