    A point with Chinese companies overtaking US is BYD the direct competition to Tesla Motors. For the first time ever they oversold Elon Musk’s company in terms of cars built during the first quarter on 2024 to become the largest manufacturer of EV’s in the world. What does Biden do? Increases the amount of tarifs of Chinese made products brought into the US, notably on EV from 40% to 100%.
    A spokesman for BYD says: “It doesn’t effect us. We’re not even in the U.S. market. Our growth is Latin America, the Middle East and Asia.”

Maybe Warren Buffet needs to give 500Million in political donations so American businesses dont suck so bad. Maybe Warren Buffet needs to start putting his money where his arse is, so america doesnt suck so bad. The average house in america is 500k, and min wage is generally 10 dollars. So is anyone able to get a low wage job and pay their way through school? Is anyone able to get a low wage job, and get a starter home? No. Is anyone getting minimum wage going to get married, have a wife, house, and 3 kids if you make low wages? Having a child with no health insurance is $20,000 in the USA who is having 20k bundles of joy? when a great 4 wheeler, a couple guns for the range, and an alcohol problem is cheaper than that????

      The benefit is because an OECS passport will let you live in the OECS countries (two of which are zero tax). If you're going to get it, remember that after 30 June this year, the minimum "donation" amount increases a heap.

    • @matthewnirenberg
      @matthewnirenberg 13 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@Flavor_Flav The benefit is that it gives you options. If Canada start doing citizenship based taxation, you might want to get rid of it one day. If the EU & Canada fall, the OECS passport gives you options - i.e. places you can live, two of which are zero tax.
      There are plenty of people leaving AU & NZ after how those countries treated their own citizens (travel bans, bans on working online (was deemed 'non-essential'), trapped abroad and jailed for overstaying because AU wouldn't let them back home, etc.) and because the taxes are increasing, new taxes getting added every week and businesses are closing rapidly.
      Not saying you have to renounce anything immediately, but don't ever limit yourself voluntarily if you have the means to expand your options. Having an OECS passport is a good thing - even if you never move to any of the OECS countries, its still an option that you'll have.
      Only downside to the Caribbean CBI programs - they've overpriced themselves and need to quit bending over backwards due to the misguided notion of "if we appease the USA and the EU, they won't keep wanting us to end CBI" because the reality is that the USA and the EU won't stop trying to force CBI to end until CBI ends.

It's a pain to play the currency market that way, though, since the IRS wants a capital gains form to be completed. One of your mottos is "have bank accounts in different countries" but zero in Mexico? Really? There are a lot of banks there and none are good enough? CIBanco? Azteca? Bajio?

    I'm hearing more good things about Argentina and the peso again. Argentina's looking more and more like a horse to bet on with the impending collapse of the US dollar. I got some good info from this comment section about that country not long ago. It's definitely on my list of options to pursue.

    Bitcoin isn’t really liquid until people sell it. And nobody’s selling it. So right now it’s about as illiquid as a big ass house in a zero growth market.
