    • @Lh-wq5gc
      @Lh-wq5gc ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Those places have major interest especially if you do not pay it in full before the interest rate racks up and the loan becomes more than double what you actually borrowed. I think she should’ve calculated the correct amount of interest for him . He did not “loan” the money , he simply was ignorant on the law . He was very kind to lend a stranger that type of money for his business , but he was a bit hasty on when it was to be repaid . Instead of using the words “repay” or “paid back” he should’ve been asking , how is his “investment “ and how are “sales”. My ruling (and yes I’m in law - Doctorate not JD) would’ve been to pay him the $50 he owed , plus calculate any interest on sales based on how many tea’s were sold since the investment . Also I love Dr. Sebi ; even though they bleeped it out , I am sure that is who he said 😊

    • @davidswick8571
      @davidswick8571 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I find it interesting that you have a "doctorate in law" because you are saying two completely different things here. Either it is a loan and she should have calculated "proper" interest, or if it is in an investment then she should have calculated how much product sold and base his return on what was sold (or make him wait to make a profit).
      The last thing to be done would be "calculate any interest on sales based on how many tea’s were sold since the investment" as per you verbatim. That would be mixing the loan/investment together which the judge refused to do.

    Many of you are making comments about the transaction not being legal. Of course not😂. This is a "Hood" transaction. This happens all the time in urban neighborhoods. The problem is, if the transaction doesn't go as planned, you can't take it to the law. These transactions are not documented, and require a person to stand on their word. The defendant needed the money right then, and was willing to pay any amount to get it.

    The post interviewer is the most useless guy 😂 You can tell there's not much abstraction of thought going on in his head, just parroting what other people said. Lmaoo
