I agree. Great playlist. I also think you have to be in the right mood to listen to classical music. I’m not the biggest fan of classical music but when I’m in the right mood I enjoy it time to time.
Boredom is a matter of personal preference. I don't see how you could convince someone that something's not boring. It's like trying to convince someone that a certain food is not bland. You could point out nuances that they missed, but that still doesn't mean they'll find it interesting or satisfying.
I've read that they've done surveys / studies and people who like classical music like this and metalheads share the same aspect they enjoy: love of the grandiose.
The original shredder was Niccolo Paganini -- Do a youtube search for "Niccolo Paganini - Caprice no.5" -- the [HQ] of Alexander Markov is killer! Watching his fingers on the strings and the intensity of his body movements reminds me of a metal guitarist! He even gets some headbanging in there hahaha
@John Wick To my understanding, rap is at least to some extent considred to be inspired by or connected to "flyting or fliting" and similar traditions ("the word comes from the Old English word flītan, which means “quarrel” (which itself comes from the Old Norse word flyta meaning “provocation”)" - The Vintage News, 2016. Not putting a link, since YT and its bots hate that, apparently. Sorry about that.). And while I'm not sure I fully agree with SHREDDY, there is a sure deifference in that (at least modern) rapping puts more emphasis on turns of phrases and what I can only call "gotcha!" moments/word/phrases, which you rarely find in classical or metal. To put it in another way, I guess the difference would be that rap is about the words, where as classical and even metal to a great extend are about stirring and swelling of emotions.
You're so right! Listening to pieces like these (and many more that we haven't included in the mix) you can really tell how much inspiration heavy metal bands have drawn from the classical genre, which is pretty cool 🤘
Check out sacred harp singing. You might possibly find it interesting. People describe it as the heavy metal of a cappella singing. It is a different kind of sound (find some modern recordings though, the old ones don't give a good idea of the true sound).
I've fallen in love with classical music so much lately, its just so much more emotional than anything produced today. So happy to see so many people here
I love Classical music as well. classical draws and play with emotions. A very powerful music that tells story and how deep it is, depends on how rich our experiences, enlightenment, hardship, suffering, sympathy in life, etc. The more we have those the more we can bring out emotion we have hidden and enjoy the music. Absolutely fantastic.
Classical music feels like old games. They don´t had all the hardware we have today, but they used their creativity, talent and brilliance to pass feelings in a way new games couldn´t even imagine to do. You can almost hear the author singing whithin his composition. I love today´s musics, but classical feels different, some tense strings, flutes, big tense leather boxes and pure human talent competing against uninmaginable technology
Classical music is absolutely not boring! My 4 year old little girl and I listen to your playlists together all the time 😊 she even listens to it on her Kindle. She calls it her “ballet” music and dances around to it! It’s fantastic and I’m so glad she has learned to appreciate its beauty at such a young age 😊 Thank you Halidonmusic for another wonderful playlist ❤️ Have a lovely Sunday!
That's so sweet Christie - what's more beautiful than sharing a passion with your children and seeing them enjoy it as much as you? 🥰 Thank you for being here and for showing your support, we wish you a wonderful new week!
@@Ninja_204 I have to disagree. We bought her the kids Kindle, for ages 3-7. She has learned a lot and she is able to play a lot of fun children’s games and has even started learning to read on it. She is not allowed to play it all the time, but in my opinion it has helped reinforce the skills her dad and I have taught her. And yes, it is great for her music education 😊
help her not forget what she likes, as we grow up, others influence our taste, but just make sure she will tread where she sees fit, classical music is for everyone, however she may be frowned upon due to her being fond of it, stay strong!
Finished a tight deadline project for work with only a minute to spare as Verdi's Requiem was playing in the background really made me feel like the main protagonist. 10/10 playlist
some composition are boring af though just like pop song or rock song there good classical song and there are boring classical song and then there are some composition that you can listen on daily basis without ever bored (for me that is stuff like wagner valkyrie or paganini la campanella)
We couldn't agree more with you Stasia, that's a perfectly fitting description! Thank you for listening, it's a pleasure to know that you enjoy the compilation.
actually they don't tell stories there are not even characters in it or places the essentials of story ofc that's because it's not written but the main idea is that the music especially the ones without lyrics generally plays with audience feelings they take you and and give you a wonderful tour in the sensational world a violin can make you feel sad meanwhile the drums gets you excited and the more the emotions become clear, the greater the effect. in my opinion respectfully
1st - not boring 2nd - boring 3rd - boring 4th - boring 5th - ok 6th - ok 7th - boring 8th - the beginning is not boring, but the rest is 9th - boring I didn't want to go further, sorry
Classical music isn't boring, people just don't take time to get to know and/or understand it. This is a great basic playlist for introducing hesistant listeners.
Thank you, that's exactly what we were aiming for! Of course there will always be people who don't enjoy classical music and that's perfectly fine, but there might be many other out there who are skeptical about giving it a chance but who might like it if they actually gave it a chance... This mix is for them (and for anyone who wants to listen, clearly) 🤗
Dry contact lenses opened my eyes and ears to classical music. As a teenager, I accidentally hit the classical station on FM and had to pull off the road to listen to my first taste of Vivaldi. I was immersed, transported, like a religious experience. A great wave of adrenaline and exuberance coursed through me. I will never forget it. Decades later, its hard for me to imagine a world without the works of brilliant composers and the great dedicated musicians that perform them.
I love the Swan Lake by Tchaikovsky. I saw a sick grandmother who was a professional ballerina before. And the moment she heard this song, she feels immortalized and proceeds on dancing. That moment is precious.
i remember playing the first song in my highschool orchestra with my violin teacher and had a blast. she passed away a few months ago, and this just reminded me of her :(
I ADORE the more dramatic classical music! It speaks to my soul on a deeper level and echoes with my heart. It ignites the fire in my belly and makes my mind roar with untold tales.
My god, Vivaldi's Four Season, Winter and Summer especially, are something else.. they hit so deep inside, an emotional rollercoaster so pleasant to hear. I am deeply in love with this masterpieces.
This is the only thing keeping me focused on studying. It's not too distracting, but is such good music and is also dramatic enough to keep the bored part of my mind occupied. Whoever arranged this playlist...thank you.
Bom dia Halidonmusic! Domingo cinzento aqui, quietude, vento suave! Que sabe bem ouvir estas maravilhosas músicas! Minha gratidão! E um bom Domingo para todos vocês! 🙏❤️🎻🎼🎼🎼🍀🌻🌻🌻🌻
I already know classical music is not boring, but clicked this video knowing it was definitely going to contain some absolute bangers, and I was right.
Classical music touched my heart this year 2022. I love this site ever since. I used to find it boring but I was just ignorant. Music is magic and alive.
That's great Adam! We're so happy you allowed yourself to discover just how wonderful classical music can be. Thank you for listening, glad you enjoy the compilation 😊
Second compilation of this channel I am watching in two days and I am already in love for the single fact that both Videos include "Palladio". Makes me feel so nostalgic and remember the days when our youth orchestra was actually good and we were playing that piece too, among many others...
the first one instantly hit me as we played Palladio in my middle school orchestra but holy hell that was literally the same note on the cello the whole time
I remember discussing classical music with a friend as a teen, and for fun, described a scenario that fit what we heard to each other. It resulted in tears on my end for how intense some of the songs were.
Me describing Der Ring des Nibelungen for a date and its significance/historical value some months ago while we smoked pot.. Yeah I also cried but she's more into rap 🤣 We didn't see each other since... The Wagner topic started because she lives right next to one of Wagners addresses from the time he spent in Zurich
I couldn’t agree more. Classical music is so complex and beautiful. From the layering of instruments to the tone and emotions conveyed in each section. There is so much to it, the last thing it is is boring.
Nothing boring about classical music, it's quite emotional. I believe most folks would be surprised to hear something familiar as a lot of classical pieces have been used for decades in movies and TV. The classics have survived the ages. Thank you for sharing.
The Four Seasons are fire! Actually, it's not uncommon for metal fans to enjoy classical music, and that's probably because they recognise how much it has influenced the bands they like. Some classical pieces are perfect for headbanging 🤘
I think this playlist is a great response for the ones who thought this was a 2 hours long essay about why classical music is not boring because this wonderful music is a more explanatory answer than a long essay to a question about classical music. People must understand why classical music is not boring and must not need any essay after listening to these masterpieces.
@Tempest Classical music is art. You wouldn’t have all that lil yachty stuff without classical music xD. Guess who made the phone, tablet, pc you are typing on? Nerds. Guess who made the health systems that save millions of people per day. Nerds. Guess who made TH-cam, Spotify, the Music Editing Software used by lil yachty. Nerds. Guess who created the systems that help thousands of women carry out pregnancies every day. Nerds. Guess who made society function, guess who organized all of this infrastructure that you owe so much to. Nerds. You only exist because of Nerds. Nobody owes people like you anything. Maybe you should get a life, grow up, and start respecting people a bit more. Nerds are the real cool people. They actually ADD something to society.
When people hear that i love classical music they say that it is weird for a young person to listen to such a music genre. But they don't understand how brilliant classical music is 😉👌
Classical music is the most beautiful, dramatic and elegant music ever written. It’s music that has passion, music that has power, music that has feelings and it just can’t be boring!
I love a lot of the classical music because I feel like it could do something that not even modern music. Can some of these pieces convey such emotion and feeling that you can't help but cry a little bit you can feel the emotion and the power of what the composer was going for and that's often not matched in modern music
This is my first time listening to classical music. and instantly I fell in love. I love the rhythm throughout the music. It's like taking me to the era of the old kingdom as if it immediately calmed me for a moment from the uncertain problems of life.
I love classic music; try to find a musician today who‘s able to coordinate 50+ „band members“ playing 15+ different instruments for 2+ hours at the time! What an attainment!
Classical music is a relationship with music without lyrics + intense emotions + the beauty of the simple, no singer, no electronics, just real people playing real feelings... and I really love that, you can feel everything the music he wants
...thank you. It's lovely to be able to play these on demand, from such a variety of times and regions! More people need to get into classical music, especially those who love the modern music that has influenced today's artists.
Simplemente, arte.
I'm 60 now , the very first piece of classical music I heard when I was very young (4) was Grieg's In The Hall of The Mountain King . I was hooked. I have loved classical music all my life . I hated pop which didn't do me any favours when I was at school in the 60s and 70s 😁. My view hasn't changed , I thought modern music then was mostly awful with the odd rare decent tune and it's even worse now lol . I have been told I'm boring but that's ok I don't mind I can't pretend to be something I'm not .It's all I listen to .
In my opinion, music composers are putting less effort into their songs. They do it for the money, the beauty of music which comes straight from the heart is disgarded for the composer's profit.
In my opinion, people are stuck in their vision of reality. In art, in art of life, in culture, etc.. Today, there is alot of great songs. I mean, there is alot of song who are in my opinion = with classical old songs. Of course, it's different, of course, it's they are not that much promoted. I'll try to give you some songs and i hope you can change your mindset (sorry for my bad english lol) Shiki - Eau de Vie - Yasuharu Takanashi Decision - Yasuharu Takanashi Shiroae - Yasuharu Takanashi Despair - Yasuharu Takanashi This compositor did alot of great songs, if you like the style you can reach more. He also did alot of Fairy Tail songs on a celtic style. Uso To Honto - Masaru Yokoyama It come from a culte anime of piano, Your Lie in April. This is the story of a pianist. there is alot of good song in this anime, with some classical old songs, and new compositions. Rengoku Theme - Masaru Shiina (called Go Shiina) Kamado Tanjiro no Uta - Go Shiina + Nami Nakagawa Same there is alot of composition of the same style if you like. Heroic Desire - Keiji Inai Hiroyuki Sawano is pretty famous even in west : Krone Project【emU】Attack on Titan (they've done is alot of kind of Project Emu like this) Light & Shadow Toshio Masuda : Sadness and Sorrow Gried and Sorrow Loneliness Hinata vs Neji Well there is like hundred of songs like this. Maybe you dislike, but i wanted to show you a part of culture, of art pretty modern but not promoted. I think, the culture in west is dying little by little. But the History is like this, every civilisation fall one day. But, the culture in asia is still trying hard. I didn't give you chineese song, but they love west classical song and their artist works alot around. They produce alot of quality. If arts and culture is falling somewhere, it's growing somewhere else. And today, we have access on the all world. Their is obviously alot of modern things that you could love if you take time to seach. I also listen alot of old classical songs, but.. my ears have to listen more and more and moooooore kind of things, new instruments, new kind of noise, etc..
pop is not all modern music there are much more genres and many of the new school genres are maturing and outputting some real diamonds, problem is you have to find them in this sea of garbage.
I have been a classical music lover since before I turned 10. Now, I’m almost in my 50s and can’t go on with my day without hearing classical music. Thank God for these musical geniuses whose works are immortalized for everyone to enjoy. Thanks HALIDONMUSIC.
Once the doors or classical music open before you it's very hard to go back! There is so much beauty and variety and emotion to discover, and we love to hear that classical music has been with you for most of your life!
Whenever I listen to classical music, I feel sad and nostalgic because I know that some of the greatest authors of these works no longer walk in this world and will not be able to create more masterpieces. What they could feel and think about while creating these melodies. I just feel this way just listening to them. I also imagine that if I had been born a few centuries earlier, maybe, who knows, I would have been dancing to these songs at some ball. These notes somehow affect me so much that I would like to lock myself in the room, cover the duvet and cry, I don't know why. Just beautiful.
The magic about the classic music is: The classic music don't need words to express emotions, when you hear classic music you can feel all emotions inside you blowing up, it's a magic somehow. (Sorry if I made a mistake, my English is not too good)
Absolutely wonderful. As a 21 year old, I just started exploring different kinds of music. This got me here because of the Beatles when they used orchestra on their song Eleanor Rigby. This kind of music keeps my heart beat fast as hell. It's crazy
This is a great compilation of passionate and epic classical compositions. You can feel the energy in these music pieces. I heard a lot of these compositions in great films and Nobuo Uematsu(Final Fantasy composer) was inspired by these compositions for some of his wonderful tracks in the games.
I believe that music is the language of emotions. Classical music is such a fascinating study in how whole vivid emotional experiences are conveyed so strongly to its audience through these songs.
Damn! This playlist is REALLY something new for me! I love any kind of music but mostly prefer rock, but this... This is just TOO good! Our ancestors really went hard on music.
whenever i think of songs like this i get to thinking about the greatness that comes from the soulsborne soundtracks and just how they were inspired by songs like this. one of the tracks from bloodborne, living failures, takes a lot of inspiration from gustav holst's "mars, bringer of war", for example. even in sekiro you can see a lot of inspiration from japanese music of the sengoku time period.
I am Brazilian, grandson of a Russian man and a German woman, my grandfather used to listen to several songs on a very large record, among this song is Erika from Germany 💀, But he was also always listening to classical music, and I always followed him. A golden time in my life. Miss him :( he went to Russia again and the rest of my family is here in Brazil.
It's the same for us Donna. Classical music can be a boost of energy, an enjoyable soundtrack for when you're studying or working or an oasis of calm when you need it after a long day... Boring isn't contemplated! Thank you for listening ❤
Who says that classical music is boring...well those people are boring ! Classical music is inspiring, melodic, suave, gentil to the spirit, sometimes very moving, with rhythm, cathartic and with chutzpah. The more I listen throughout the years the more I fall in love with it. There are so many classical music composers that never rival the music of today's. My favorite music is listening to classical!!. Never boring for sure!!
You're so right Consuelo: classical music has something for everyone and can elicit a myriad of different emotions which make it far from boring. Thank you for the support 💪
I never thought Classical music as a whole was boring because there are several pieces that I love (some are here) but any time I search for new classical music, most of what I find is boring. This is a fantastic collection of the good stuff. I've listened to a minute or so of the first 15 so far and have enjoyed almost all of them. Will definitely be listening to this more thoroughly when I have more time.
dive into Romantic and Impressionist composers. Chopin, Ravel, Debussy, Sibelius, Saint-Saens, Rachmaninov, Korngold, Barber, Tchaikovsky, Mahler, Dvorak, Smetana, could just keep going and going. A really good way to do it is to pick an instrument you like and then dive into their pantheon of music. Check out all the big violin and piano concerti as well as symphonies and orchestral works.

This is actually the heavy metal of classical music
It really is! Heavy metal before electricity ⚡
Actually I was thinking is an amazing music for a killer workout
ya this is the heavy metal of the 1700s and 1800s
the black metal of the 1700s and 1800s
True. Based.
@@fartkerson paganini heavily inspired neoclassical metal guitarists to change lead guitar forever
You need to go back to the Baroque Period and listen to Vivaldi. He could jam.
@John Wick rap is a lower form of art compared to classical and metal
Another great selection. The classical music is many things, but boring never.
Exactly Alenka - it may not be everyone's cup of tea, which is perfectly fine, but people who think it's boring should really reconsider!
Well, it can be boring. That's the struggle of a composer. To be interesting, instead of boring, to be preferred over that other guy, to make a living
Classical music is never boring
German lieder!😱

I'm a metalhead and this is like the heavy metal grandfather. I was literally headbanging to this without noticing.

A lot of todays music is very emotional, if you look beyond the mainstream, CM ist still cool though

@@Ninja_204 I have to disagree. We bought her the kids Kindle, for ages 3-7. She has learned a lot and she is able to play a lot of fun children’s games and has even started learning to read on it.

Simplemente, arte.

Well there is like hundred of songs like this.
@@Michaeljacksonloveu7 hi , thankyou . I am always open to listening to something different . I certainly will have a look 😁. I appreciate your post .
@@이름-w8l7n That heavily depends on where you're looking. Try listening to some music in progressive subgenres and you'll probably change your mind.
pop is not all modern music there are much more genres and many of the new school genres are maturing and outputting some real diamonds, problem is you have to find them in this sea of garbage.
That's strange, but i got same feeling while listening to that .
@@CalebBerman um ok
Let it out my friend👌
@@CalebBerman bro, “go tell it to the one legged man so he can bump it off down the road.”
The magic about the classic music is:
The classic music don't need words to express emotions, when you hear classic music you can feel all emotions inside you blowing up, it's a magic somehow.
(Sorry if I made a mistake, my English is not too good)
Don't let the Opera guys hear you
Élvezetes válogatás, remek, h a képek alkotóinak nevét is láthatjuk.
its like a good wine, beeing better while getting older
I am loving this. I have enjoyed Classical music since childhood so this is a beloved treat. Thank you Halidon Music.
That's a real pleasure to hear freya1924, thank you for listening 🥰
whenever i think of songs like this i get to thinking about the greatness that comes from the soulsborne soundtracks and just how they were inspired by songs like this. one of the tracks from bloodborne, living failures, takes a lot of inspiration from gustav holst's "mars, bringer of war", for example. even in sekiro you can see a lot of inspiration from japanese music of the sengoku time period.

Very based german grandpa.
I hope he gave you his hugo boss costume. Love those.
Classical music is my mental reset. So not boring. Love this collection. ♥
It's the same for us Donna. Classical music can be a boost of energy, an enjoyable soundtrack for when you're studying or working or an oasis of calm when you need it after a long day... Boring isn't contemplated! Thank you for listening ❤

Wonderful!
It means a lot coming from you, Frédéric 🙏 We're big fans here!
hey wait a minute
Who says that classical music is boring...well those people are boring ! Classical music is inspiring, melodic, suave, gentil to the spirit, sometimes very moving, with rhythm, cathartic and with chutzpah. The more I listen throughout the years the more I fall in love with it. There are so many classical music composers that never rival the music of today's. My favorite music is listening to classical!!. Never boring for sure!!
You're so right Consuelo: classical music has something for everyone and can elicit a myriad of different emotions which make it far from boring. Thank you for the support 💪
I honestly expected a 2 hour documentary on why classical music isn't boring but this is atleast as good.
Honestly never listened much to classical music, but this is just the right amount of hype I need to not fall asleep to my work from home!
Beautiful music; Classical Music is life.
We couldn't have summed it up any better 💪
