Andy Hello, great tip after watching your video I did some more research. I noticed people scraping off bits and using them like those magnesium bars to raise the initial temperature of the fire. Maybe to overcome moisture in the tinder. Anyhow another good tip to add to my bag of tricks, Thank you 👍
Very novel idea. On the fishing side though I think a hook might be more useful. I have made spinners from the bottom of beer cans. Also hooks from the ring pulls. Never caught anything with the hooks but the spinners work. I made a hook from a reindeer nasal bone once. I was determined for that to work, hours, and nothing 😂.
